"Lovely lunch in a lovely place! Excellent lentil soup with the right texture and a touch of spicy “heat,” a salad full of surprising textures and tastes, (with poached pears exquisitely combined the crunchy walnuts and crisp arugula and fennel greens, with house dressing that blended it all together beautifully), and a real treat of fresh baked bread and a complimentary spread that was an excellent appetizer. This was my first visit! The extensive menu obviously calls for additional visits and deeper exploration of things. Since I am from former Yugoslavia, (more specifically, from Sarajevo, Bosnia), many Turkish foods, sweets, and drinks are very familiar, and I love finding them in Roscoe Village! All this combined with very pleasant reception by a friendly staff, gave the experience an additional glow! No doubt, I will be coming back!"
