"Last minute decision ... driving by … long time since we 'd been here, and decided on an early Saturday dinner ~4:30 . Great decision! The restaurant was probably between shifts and getting ready for a dinner rush, but you would never have known it by the friendly welcome. Waiter Mohammed was upbeat, attentive, and an obviously experienced pro… clearly knew the menu and was patient with our questions we had a few . But the star? The food!! Excellent backyard grilled flavor as in, “when done by someone that knows how to grill not the weekender that thinks burning is the same as charring”? . Prime Rib special!! Hadn’t expected that. A perfect med rare, edged with a very tasty, well seasoned char. What a treat! Don 't think I 've ever had a bbq grilled Prime Rib as good as this one. Second plate was a pretty traditional, and darn near extraordinary, slab of ribs … near fall off the bone meat, just the right amount of delicious, burnt edges, served with a light cover of rich, flavorful bbq sauce and enough more sauce on the side to satisfy even the die hards. There were good sides also ... but truthfully? With those meats didn 't really care. All in all? Really happy we decided to stop in. We will be back."
