"My group has visited this restaurant for the second time and four out of five of us are natives of Louisiana. We believe this restaurant is pretty authentic. The hurricanes are delicious. We particularly enjoyed the "slap yo mama" appetizer, especially with the alligator. The oysters, both raw and charbroiled, were also excellent. We tried the jambalaya, red beans and rice, etoufee, and Cajun pasta, all of which were really good. However, we found the beignets to be too dense. We recommend trying the bread pudding instead."
