"We ordered a stuffed crust pizza last night and waited for about an hour and a half before I called to check on our order. According to the app, it had been on its way for nearly an hour, and I live just 2 miles from the store. The manager asked me to hold for a moment and then returned to tell me it was indeed on the way—before hanging up on me! Just as I was about to call back for an estimated time of arrival, the delivery person called to inform me that my address didn’t exist. Excuse me? I can assure you, I don’t live in an alternate universe. I’ve been at the same house for over 30 years and know my address by heart.
When the delivery person finally found me (after I stood outside waving while he drove past me four times), he handed me my now ice-cold pizza without a single word of apology. He didn’t say a thing—just gave me a look that was barely concealing his disdain. We decided not to eat it due to the way the driver looked at us. To make matters worse, the pizza wasn’t even sealed, so we were worried it might have been tampered with. If I could rate this Papa John’s with less than one star, I would. Thankfully, there are plenty of other pizzerias around here, so this experience is no great loss. Order at your own risk!"
