"We had experienced C-Level a few times and always enjoyed it; so, for my birthday, we thought about giving the fine dining side a try. Sadly, our experience was bittersweet. We each started off with a cocktail which we all enjoyed. Bandito Ahumado, Seafoam Highball and Ticket to Paradise: all delicious We began with the crab cakes to share, the flavor was very good, but the crab got lost among all the breadcrumbs. There was a nice little kick of spice from the old bay aioli. We each ordered a petite filet, and at $56, our steaks were severely over done. I ordered mine medium which came out medium-well borderline well-done , my Dad ordered medium-well and there wasn't an ounce of pink left, it was dry and tough; very disappointing for the price. My mom had the local catch which we enjoyed more than the steaks. We ordered a couple sides, grilled asparagus, which might have been the best thing of the night ! , and the bacon Mac n cheese which was good, but very rich. The restaurant was very kind to bring a complimentary slice of flourless chocolate cake in celebration. The service was mediocre. Don't get me wrong, our server was very nice, but just not as attentive as we had hoped. Our empty cocktail glasses sat on the end of our table all night. Our server never returned to our table to ensure that we were satisfied with our meal, but proceeded to fill our empty cocktail glasses with water once our meal was finished. Quite frankly, the best service we had was from the gentleman that kept our actual water glasses filled throughout the night. The atmosphere and the skyline view across the bay really make this place special, just for the ambiance."
