"This is a great little coffee shop in downtown Marshall. If I could give it a 4.5 I would as it was almost a five. Our food was very good. If you're into ambiance this place has it, it's a coffee shop alongside a vintage antique store in a turn of the century department store building. I had the Cubano sandwich, which was quite good if a bit different from a traditional Cuban sandwich. At first I was disappointed the bread was not pressed like a traditional Cuban sandwich, nor was it the more typical French bread. But the wheat bun was very good and tasted homemade. So I'll say it was an excellent Cuban influence sandwich! Service was great. And if I'd been in a coffee mood I'm guessing their coffee would have been good as well as it had all the makings of a good coffee shop. Instead I had iced tea, which was fine. So why not a five? Both my wife and I felt it was a 4.5. for me I guess it was it felt just a little bit too trendy, was trying to hard. I would have been happier if it was a diner vibe, but that wouldn't necessarily work with the antique store. For my wife it was that the food was just a little bit expensive for what you got. It's still a great place and if you're looking for a sandwich or a cup of coffee I'd give it a try."
