"I ordered the Ricotta Cavatelli Bolognese for $26. The flavor was excellent, but I found the portion to be on the small side. I finished my dish and ended up going home to eat something else. Additionally, they didn’t offer any grated cheese, which was disappointing. My wife chose the Herb Seared Sea Scallops appetizer for $22 as her entrée. She had wanted a salad as well, but the Woodnote Salad was priced at a staggering $20 without any protein. A glass of house wine was $12 for Pinot Grigio and $14 for Cabernet. They did offer two dinner rolls for free, which was a nice touch, but if you wanted to substitute something with your meal—like rice instead of potatoes—you'd have to pay an extra $5.
While we might consider returning to Woodnotes for a special occasion where budget isn't a concern, we definitely won't be going back for a regular dinner. Your experience may vary, but we were pretty let down."
