It felt very local and charming. The staff was welcoming and helpful, showing me the different donut styles they offered. As for the donuts themselves, they were fantastic. I tried the plain one first, which was perfect - not overly sweet, not dry, just right. The texture was soft and chewy, exactly how a donut should be.
