"This is a national chain, so I am sure that many of the readers of this web site have either eaten at one of the stores, or have seen them somewhere. The food in here is the same as it is in any of the other stores. The decor is slightly different as this particular location has moved to a darker upscale look.<br/ <br/ The point of this review is not so much to talk about the food or wine. Rather, I am writing this because I had a problem during my recent visit and the staff handled it in an exemplary matter that should be acknowledged and encouraged!<br/ <br/ I ordered the Houlihan standard of the Stuffed Chicken Breast. It is a chicken breast that is lightly breaded, folded around a garlicky cream cheese and sauteed in that position. It comes with sides of mashed potatoes and buttery green beans. <br/ <br/ In my case, the chicken was undercooked and had tendons through it which made it impossible to cut. As it happened, when I was struggling with it, the waiter came by and asked if all was Ok with the food. I showed him the problems and he immediately apologized and asked if he could take my plate away to make a replacement dish? I agreed, of course.<br/ <br/ Not two minutes passed by before the kitchen manager showed up to apologize profusely for the error that was made and assure me that they will correct it. Since my wife had also received her dish (the miso Salmon which was excellent! , he offered to get me something else, like a soup of appetizer, so that I am not sitting there waiting with no food. I declined. A few minutes after that, the front end manager came by to apologize, assure me that they have put my dish at the front of the kitchen's queue; offer me something else like a soup or appetizer to while away the time, etc. Again I declined.<br/ <br/ This dish takes about 15 minutes to prepare. While i waited, the front end manager and the waiter stopped by at least twice more each to let me know how sorry they were and to see if I wanted anything.<br/ <br/ When the dish came out, it was done perfectly and I enjoyed it. The bill had the entire entree eliminated from it as one final apology for the problem that I had.<br/ <br/ This is the way every restaurant should deal with a situation like this. I was not upset I cook enough that I know mistakes happen. The way the complete staff handled it was what was exceptionally well done and I truly appreciated their efforts to correct the problem."
