"First time back in a loonnngg time. Sorry it took so long as the service and food was remarkable! My wife had the chicken Monterey, two large breasts with mushrooms and green beans. It was cooked to perfection and she took half of it home. I had the beef wet burrito and it was also amazing. I could only eat half also so I get to enjoy it again. Very fair pricing and our waiter was awesome in a busy environment. I highly recommend!"

"Every time my family and I visit Santa Cruz, we make sure to stop and eat at this restaurant and we have never been let down. We enjoy the fried shrimp appetizer, the delicious clam chowder, and my son always devours the fish and chips. The view from the restaurant is always stunning, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend dining here."

"This is one of our go to restaurants for b'days, anniv, etc. A little far from home, but centrally located for several family members to meet up at. The food is excellent and good size portions. The chopped steak is a favorite of mine, our son in law favors the ribs, and my husband really likes Jimmy's cut of the New York strip (basically high end fillet). Baked potatoes are a really good size and definitely made in the oven (some places cheat and microwave first yuck). Adequate wine and beer choices and good feature cocktails. Looking forward to our next visit!!"

"PLEASE GO HERE!!! Seriously, you won?t regret it. The food was soo good today when we went here. Me and my gf randomly went here and were pleasantly surprised to say the LEAST. We got the Lamb Kebob, Lamb Chops (both medium rare) and the meat was done perfectly. Their sauces were also fantastic, and presentation was to die for! The prices were also reasonable. We had walked past here so many times while waiting in line for Maple Leaf Diner, and we?re glad to have tried it"

"All six of us had the scallops and shrimp dish. All if us loved the scallops but we all were disappointed in the shrimp. It obviously was NOT fresh. In fact it tasted and had the texture of it’s being freeze dried and still not prepared correctly."

"Been here a few times just for shave ice, and had a decent experience. Tonight, my daughter and I came in for dinner after hitting in some batting cages. Definitely a mixed bag this time. They were understaffed, and busy. Loads of people coming in to pick up takeout orders. Both of our meals were mediocre. Ribs were greasy, and the BBQ chicken was a small portion compared to other Hawaiian restaurants in Portland. Never got offered water (there is no public water station). Brought our food without any forks, knives, or napkins. Just basic stuff lacking. Note to the owners, please have enough staff on hand to handle the business."

"I really enjoy the food at Nikka, but I dislike that they only have high top tables outside. I tend to avoid dining at places with only high tops because it's difficult for me to get up and down due to a back issue, and I would imagine this is a challenge for many older patrons as well. They claim to be dog-friendly outside, but it's quite hard to manage a dog from a high top table. The patio is nice, but the atmosphere inside isn't very appealing with only low tables. I would love to see them replace one of the two-top and one of the four-top tables with two lower tables. When I mentioned this to the staff, their response was pretty much, "That's just how it is.""

"My friend has NEVER been to Hodaks and she 's lived in St Louis almost here entire life of over 76 years! She was very pleased with her meal of Chicken fried Chicken and ordered take home of Chicken livers. Even though she was hungry, she took about half of her main meal and the livers home. IT 'S NOT FOOD IF IT ISN 'T FRIED !!!"

"I really only had been once or twice here before without kids in the past. We had in the past here attended a birthday party before, they also offer a very birthday deal in general here, they also do for smaller sized events as well rooms are upstairs and game areas are mixed so it’s not a place to let your child run free. There are adults and alcoholic beverages being served. That’s how I kept my sanity. To be fair my son thinks it’s the best place ever; some neat “ride like” games and fun team playing options too, if not a pandemic I’d say go. Kids in daylight hours and adults only after 2 pm. Great stay and play deals for food too. Can’t wait, they really should offer a small rental option for small house hold family groups."
