"What a sad experience we will never be back! We came in as we usually do for drinks and appetizers at 7:45pm. In the middle of eating we were asked if we would want anything else because the kitchen was closing but the bar would stay open.(we were sitting in the bar area) halfway through our drinks at 8:15 pm we were told the manager decided to close the bar down. (The hours state they are open till 11pm but apparently business was too slow) music was turned off lights were dimmed and we felt so awkward. Basically a hurry up and get the hell out of here. Left and went to Varsity next door for drinks. This may be why business is slow. Making paying customers who want to be there to feel uncomfortable and shoved out the door. We will never bother with this place again!"

"The food is always good. And almost every time the service is great. But there is those times where the staff is super prejudice towards anyone they think might be homeless or they take an extreme amount of time to make milkshakes. BUT, the shakes are totally worth the wait."

"We walked in and sat inside near back door. It was quiet, clean, Best Burger Ever!!! Four of us got a loaded Hamburger, delicious French Fries and a Peanut Butter Shake. The order was all finished quickly and at the same time. Hot was hot, and Cold was cold. They even gave us a serving of hot Chile peppers. It is well worth the price and was one of the freshest and tastiest Burgers that I have eaten in the LA area. The owner and the workers were all young and friendly. Their hands and clothing looked squeaky clean.The pictures on the wall were of some famous artists fromthe local area. I need to go back NOW. My mouth is wateringRight NOW. Even the straws were perfect. I even had to take my large straw with a wide opening home with me! The owner asked me if I needed another one, but I didn't want to appear greedy, so I answered with a no, thank you.I can't wait to return and try the Mexican side of the MENU. YOU WILL LOVE AND ENJOY THIS LITTLE GOLDMINE OF A DRIVE THRU RESTAURANT! I SURELY DID! All Charlie's are not equal!PS restrooms were even spotless ."

"a little late for our favorite breakfast / brunch menu, but the lunch offers are varied, plentiful and tasty. three salat choices were sufficient, the daily suppene selection is regularly rich and tasteful, the burger is a great leaner plough and large with bacon/cheese/beech/tomatoes, and the steak frries are exactly spiced and a perfect blend of soft center and crispy outside. also the grilled chicken breast of our gastes was pleasant. our server, patsy, was only present enough and helpful to respond to our asking. springhouse is a consistently excellent experience for us, even if Sunday brunch disappoints our omelet wishes after 11:30."

"that was my first visit to charlie’s too and that won’t be my last! although I was surprised by the environment in the inner, to be so casual, but I loved it. eating was amazing, and our waitress, bretagne, was so pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I started with a cup of lobster bisque, which was creamy and full of taste, and then I had a medium-sized lobster roll. I was surprised how much grief was on it! and it was just in a very easy dressing nothing else I like it. try this place absolutely!"

"This was my first visit to Charlie's Too and it won't be my last! Although I was surprised at the surroundings inside, being so casual, but I loved it. The food was amazing, and our waitress, Brittany, was so pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I started off with a cup of the lobster bisque which was creamy and full of flavor. "I passed by the restaurant last night, Saturday around 8:30, and saw the most handsome man I've ever seen—he had dreadlocks, was tall, and had light eyes. I'll be back next Saturday because I need to find this heavenly figure, lol! He smiled at me, but I was on the other side of the street. "We just had our first visit to Cheap Charlie 's. I would say it offers simple honest food. Both the items we had were from the more casual/diner half of their menu so I can 't speak to their steak cookery etc. The spaghetti and meatballs I had was very tasty and homestyle. I didn 't need nearly as many meatballs as they provided but it certainly made it seem generous. The partner had a very intentionally plain burger and it was cooked properly to a lovely medium as he requested. Our server was pleasant but disappeared for long periods of time at EVERY stage of the process including after giving us 'another minute ' to finalize our choices. The dining room was almost empty so whatever she was doing it wasn 't directly related to us or her 1 large table that was done eating. We weren 't in a hurry so it wasn 't a big deal. The desert we tried, Peanut Butter Silk, wasn 't good. I 'm sure it 's a food service pie from Edwards or something similar. The whipped topping was thick and could actually be pulled like gum. The layers of peanut butter and chocolate were weak in flavor and the crust screamed 'I 'm a defrosted frozen pie '. They have about 6 deserts on the menu. Maybe they should streamline that to a few higher quality, higher turnover items. Despite what sounds like a lukewarm review, we will go back. The non desert food, including bread and salad, all met our expectations and I appreciated the quiet uncrowded environment in East Bloomfield."

"Okay! Well I'm just stumped. So far downtown Rockwall has been top notch for food. Bin 303, Wells Cattle, Zanata, and now Charlie's are amazing. What makes Charlies unique is definitely their style of cooking. You can see and taste some of the Latininspired ingredients in some of their items. I got the Charlie's Burger and I have to say that their sun dried tomatoes wereawesome. It was a great compliment to their burger and can only say that it was a tad too sweet but it hardly impacted theoverall taste of their burger. If you are looking for a burger and beer place look no further than Charlie's. I do alsorecommend tasting Bin 303 and Wells Cattle as each have their own unique taste."
