"I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way back from the beach and was pleasantly surprised. Although we didn’t have a reservation and needed a table for five, our friendly server quickly helped us find a spot.
The food was fantastic! There was a bit of a wait, but everything was made with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes were generous, and each dish was packed with flavor. The lomo saltado was spot on, featuring crispy potatoes, sizzling onions, and tender steak. The jalea with ceviche was hands down one of the best I’ve had in New York—no exaggeration! I regretted sharing it with my kids!
While the anticuchos were on the smaller side, they were bursting with flavor—seared on the outside and juicy within. The pisco sour was just as delightful as our dishes.
Yes, this restaurant is slightly on the pricier side, but it’s absolutely worth it.
The ambiance is lovely, too—no loud music (I really enjoyed the jazz!), beautiful decor, clean restrooms, and it’s a very welcoming place for families and children.
This might just be one of the best restaurants in Queens! A big thank you to our waiter, Edgar, for making our evening enjoyable. You were polite and attentive throughout our meal.
We’ll definitely be returning!"
