"It's always hard finding a good and decently priced Mexican restaurant, most places hit one or the other but Garcias figured out the formula to include both. Their happy hour prices are amazing as well. I had angelique as my server and whatever they are paying her it is not enough. She is insanely attentive and very fast and friendly. "The food was quite enjoyable, but I ended up enhancing it when I got home. The veggie chips had very few beans on them, so I added some tomato, shredded cheese, and red onion. The carne was just okay, according to the person who tried it. However, the shredded chicken hard shell taco was tasty, though I suspect the shells might have come from a box. The combo plate of enchiladas, on the other hand, was a definite highlight!"

"I have been a fan of this restaurant for years. The food is delicious and the prices are great. Some people argue about its authenticity, but I don't care - the food is fresh and affordable. The salsa bar is a nice touch and not having to tip servers is a plus for me. I enjoy serving myself."

"This is a pleasant restaurant, but I can only speak to their breakfast, which I found to be average. I was really looking forward to trying their breakfast tacos, especially since I've heard good things about their lunch tacos. Unfortunately, they don't serve breakfast tacos at all—only burritos. I was disappointed, as making tacos isn't much different from making burritos. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which you can see in the picture. There isn't much to rave about; they served a decent amount of bacon on the side, but the eggs could have been fluffier. Overall, it was just okay."

"I used to love this place. During the day it’s usually still alright but at night service takes a dive. For one at night time they only take cash, which is Weird. During the day I don’t have any trouble getting a water cup. At night, there is always this dude wearing a beanie working the register. He never gives me a water cup and wants me to pay an extra $2.17. I’ve literally been standing there about to drop $4 on a cash tip when this kid tries to nickel and dime me for a small styrofoam cup. I end up not leaving a tip and going home to eat my food because I’m not paying for tap water. I used to have fond memories of getting adobada fries after a long night. Now it’s honestly not worth my time. I’ll only go here if I’m desperate."

"Okay, I?m a taco fiend and my tastebuds know great tacos. I?ve been to several places here in Tucson and I?ve had excellent tacos! Taqueria El Pueblito is great also, but, a little greater! The shredded beef was better, the taco shells a little crispier (but not over cooked! and the salsa bar was great! My scope of rating a restaurant is: food first, the salsa bar 2nd, the customer service, and then the establishment itself. I already spoke about the tacos, the salsas and pickled carrots and jalapeños we?re phenomenal! Could have used a bin of cilantro, but it didn?t hurt the flavor without it. The restaurant itself, was the nicest and cleanest I?ve been to. Nice seating, indoors and out and the people working there were very friendly and helpful! If you like tacos you should try this place out!"

"I've tried plenty of burritos in San Diego, and this place is likely my new favorite. The Christian Burrito, Christian Fries, and Cali Burrito are all fantastic. The fries are crispy, both inside the burrito and as a standalone dish, and the hot sauce available is delicious. The portion sizes in the burritos are generous too. They even offer a drive-thru option. I highly recommend it!"

"I have only done drive thru here and the gentleman taking orders is quick, efficient and polite. I think this place is underestimated because it's just a small spot kind of hidden on 7th st. The burritos are top tier for breakfast and the huevos rancheros is great. Haven't had a chance to try the super nachos yet but have no doubt they will be good too!"

"Our group of seven arrived on time for our 5 PM reservation, as we were planning to attend a concert just a block away at 7:30 PM. The restaurant was almost empty when we got there. Unfortunately, it took 30 minutes for our drink orders to be served. We then placed our dinner orders, but unfortunately, the steaks were overcooked and there were mistakes in a few of the orders. After we requested our checks, it took 20 minutes for them to arrive, and another 30 minutes to process our payment. We were not informed that a 20% gratuity would be automatically included, and even that was handled poorly—one check was charged twice and another wasn’t charged at all. Two and a half hours later, we finally left the restaurant with our issues unresolved. I was extremely disappointed and will not return or recommend this location. One of our guests went back the next day to dispute the double 20% gratuity charge, and it was eventually addressed. Corralitos on Doniphan is great, though!"

"there is nothing remarkable or even great at this place. Eating was bland, boring, it did not taste fresh. not impressed, only me, the owner hasn't impressed me either. behind its restaurant stands a truck on a separate parking lot and the owner would be with the truck passenger. what he said was cynical and rude. Apparently, the lkw had broken off in the last week, fixed within days. but this restaurant owner assumed that the truck owner lived there because he was parked for a few days until he was fixed. the owner never asked anyone if they were in order if they needed anything, they didn't even ask why they were parked there, just told him to go. he also made a hateful repulsive commentary about her when he left. I don't support the business of anyone who is an idiot like this"

"My wife and I had a delightful breakfast at Rutilio's after church. She ordered the #1, which featured scrambled eggs and ham, while I went for the herbal omelette with greens, paired with a side of bacon and wheat toast. We both enjoyed coffee as well. Our server, Michelle C., was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always making sure our coffee cups were full, which I really appreciated. The food was perfect—the bacon was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. We definitely plan to come here more often; for some reason, we usually select restaurants closer to our church on the other side of the city. However, we’re looking forward to visiting Rutilio's more frequently from now on. Thank you!"
