"I've been coming to this restaurant for the better part of a decade and it's always been fantastic which makes it much more painful to have to write this. Sadly, as their quality has gone down a lot over the last few years so has my fondness. Normally I wouldn't say anything but today was sadly the last time I'll be eating here...so I thought only right to take a moment to write my retirement speech. The lamb is normally slightly on the drier side typically so I made sure to order it medium rare as that normally helps with the issue. However, when I bit into the lamb kebab I was met with chewing on a piece of wood and not a nice piece of balsa wood either this was much more resembling of an Australian ironwood tree. Next, I had ordered extra hummus and pita which when I arrived home and sat down for dinner it seemed a game of hide and seek was afoot to which those pita breads are proving to be quite the foe. Now, I understand mistakes happen, maybe the writing was too sloppy for the medium rare or someone innocently forgot to put in the pita bread. I don't aspire to be a pompous p criticizing family owned businesses for a simple mistake. I wasn't going to write this review and give them the benefit of the doubt until upon my third bite I find myself chewing on something unfamiliar to me...A nice long strand of hair was intertwined in my rice and lamb kebab entree. All of this to say, I hope this restaurant can turn it around and maybe one day I can return and find the the spark of joy that used to accompany my every bite rather than the overpriced lackluster mess and regret that I've become accustomed to."
