"I arrived about five minutes early, and while my pizza was ready, my order of tenders was not. Thanks to the open kitchen layout, I could hear everything happening. About ten minutes past my scheduled pickup time, my tenders were finally ready. I was slightly annoyed because I had placed my order hours in advance, but I understand that places can get busy. Since I was only a minute away, I was looking forward to enjoying some fresh, hot food.
Unfortunately, what I received was a lukewarm pizza that tasted more like a tomato pie than upside-down pizza. Despite a generous layer of sausage, I could barely taste it. The onions were nonexistent, and the crushed tomato sauce just had a damp, bland quality—definitely not appetizing. Reviews had warned about par-baked dough, and while I’ve had success with similar dough in the past, this was just a chewy, flavorless disappointment.
I had high hopes for the Buffalo tenders after my letdown with the pizza, but they were a disappointment as well. I know they lose some crunch when tossed in sauce, but these were just soggy, tough chicken surrounded by wet, bread-like batter. To top it off, they forgot to include my bleu cheese dressing, so I had to walk back to get some. I received the dressing without any issue, but it couldn’t salvage the chicken.
Ultimately, most of this meal went straight to the trash, leaving me to wonder where to eat next while still feeling hungry. Save your money on this one—I wish I had.
