"I order from over the phone all the time so I decided to come into the store and pickup instead of having it delivered the girl made me wait for a whole 45 minutes. White girl at the counter me black girl I think she wanted me to get brolic with her because of the wait. no I wasn’t but the food was for a friend she let me wait a whole 45 minutes and called my food out and gave me cold food on purpose then when I called and told her she was wrong all she could say was bring the food back and we’ll refund you or make it again no I shouldn’t have to that was disgusting and discrimination at its best! All the years I’ve ordered from here sad to say won’t be ordering from here any longer especially if they have a racist white person taking their food orders. Pictures of the cold food below and the chicken wasn’t even done this really hurt my heart because i really loved this place now I won’t be eating from here anymore ?"

"We brought a family of 8 for the first time. waitress failed to return to table in a timely manner for beverage refills requested one extra dressing and was told there is an additional charge for that, which i found to be unusual for dinners in the $25-$30 range. Once dressing was served in a 2 oz plastic container i was even more surprised at the policy. I feel you should revisit charging for an extra 2oz dressing with customers salad. This is something Raising Canes does and Im sure you want be held in a differnet catagoey than fast food."

"Asked about dairy allergy and server tried to tell us all bread has dairy the item in question was brioche which is dairy, but simply wanted to substitute white bread or roll) to which she questioned me and said all bread has dairy.Pulled pork was worse than theme park food, ordered a dozen wings and only got 6, and again rather than offering to check with the kitchen got told we can't eat bread and we're wrong even though my girlfriend is the one living with the allergies; I know what she can and cannot eat, as well as the standard ingredients for normal bread lol. Overpriced as well, and water cups were stuck when we sat down to a clearly dirty table wouldn't care but cups were upside down so the part you sip was stuck to table from filth)"

"Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "Avoid this place. Service is terrible. Our order was wrong on 3 straight visits. Today was the final straw. They take your order for takeout but fail to mention.all the roads near them are closed for a car show, meaning you need to walk 1/2 mile or more to get to them (perfect for someone with arthritis in both hips). I get home and discover my wife 's salad is not in the bag and their response is you can come back and get it. Our last visit we ordered a pizza with sausage and we got a pizza with extra sauce. When we called that time we were told there was a miscommunication between the online app and the restaurant (even though our receipt from the online app very clearly said sausage) and again, no remedy or corrective action. They lost us as customers and hopefully this review will make many more people think twice before supporting this terrible business. "Absolutely love this location. My husband and I went to get some pizza and decided to dine in. (Hiding from our kids ???? We told the cashier that we were eating out and didn't want our kids to know that we ate out without them. She made sure at the endwe got a to go box for our leftovers, so that our kids wouldn't know we left them out. To be honest everyone that works at thislocation are very kind. The service and food is always amazing! We had the 14 inch pizza with garlic knots. The garlic knotstaste as though the dough was made that morning! The pizza always taste GREAT! "The pizza was so freaking good. The crust sauce cheese everything was great. I even reheated it today in the oven…still delicious which is not easy to accomplish) The best thing was the service. My delivery driver actually apologized for the delay because I was given a 10-30 min time frame( which is extremely fast, I usually wait at least and hour at other places)He only missed it by 5 like mins AND it was snowing that day. "Either the cooks can't read or don't care, or the order is not being taken properly. I've been coming here for years but it's been a min and I came twice over this past weekend and both times the food was missing items, I was told upon arrival that they were out of what I ordered (mind you, I called the order in and they could've called me back to tell me that) during the second visit and I had to wait for something else to be cooked, I was given the bottom of the pan old, and clumpy, discolored cheese wiz. Charged for cheese the first time and didn't get it and no pickles on the side as requested. To make matters worse I picked up my order last night made it all the way to Bear Delaware to find out my food was still wrong it was not supposed to have tomatoes and onions on it and it had tomatoes and onions on it. I'm greatly disappointed as a food service worker who was an exceptional waitress for years and now a chef. After an 11-hour shift I would hope to come home to not cook and eat one of my favorite sandwiches from gaetano's but I was greatly disappointed twice in 3 days. I would make sure if you were my guest your food would be perfect everything you wanted would be there and if something on the plate doesn't look appealing I wouldn't serve it to you!"
