"Best since 2002? I remember going there in 1995 or 1996. Nothing has changed it is still fantastic and it is still expensive and well worth it. You get what you pay for. This is a landmark and a Las Vegas institution.I would go there more often, but my total for a sandwich and fries was $19.49 or so. Then, I noticed the fried mushrooms which was over six dollars. The fries were soggy and greasy, but I hadn't had good fried mushrooms in forever. Usually, fried mushrooms are too hot to eat for about an hour. These were almost cool enough to eat and I ate them on the way home.I unwrapped my sandwich in the car to taste it, and scalded my mouth. Except for the greasy fries, these are pros. The grease was fresh, so that makes it even better. At home, sprinkled a tiny bit of salt on the meat. I think traditionally, no seasoning is used in the preparation. In my defense, I loaded a U-haul trailer and my truck, drove three hours, unloaded the truck, drove back to Las Vegas and dropped off the trailer before ordering. I was very hungry. It is a week later and I am craving another sandwich at 5:00 am on Sunday. It is a good thing they are open 24 hours. Eat there, it is worth the money."
