"Let me start by saying the food saved this review from being 2 stars. I was alone for dinner, so since this Ruth's Cris was connected to our hotel, and I had not eaten at a Ruth's Cris in almost 20 years, I decided to splurge and have a good steak dinner. I chose to sit at the bar so as not to take up a table. The bar was fairly busy with patrons when I arrived, but after 10 minutes it decreased to about a 1/3 full. I ordered a glass of red wine, the wedge salad, and the classic filet, medium-rare. The wine and salad arrived in a reasonable amount of time and both were good. The lettuce was okay; the bleu cheese crumbles+dressing and bacon crumbles elevated it to good. My filet took awhile to arrive. When it did, it was closer to medium-well than medium-rare. For the first time in my life, I sent the steak back. Another ~15 minutes went by and the manager himself delivered my steak, take 2. This one was properly cooked: medium-rare, and it very good. A while after I finished 1 of the 3 bartenders asked if I was done, and I asked for a dessert menu. I opted for the cheesecake with berries. Another ~15 minutes went by and it arrived. The cheesecake was probably the best part of the whole meal, but I don't know why it took almost 15 minutes to bring it to me unless they had to make it from scratch. There did not seem to be a lack of wait staff, the ones at the bar appeared experienced, the restaurant was ~1/2 full, so I can only guess the cooking staff was the issue. I say that because I heard a table near the bar had an issue with their food, and the manager had to come out to another couple at the bar and smooth them over for their experience. As I said, the food was good and it saved this review from being 2-stars. The staff attentiveness was sporadic, and neither the bar nor the tables were more than 1/2 full while I was there. Atmosphere is upscale steak house: if you've been to a Ruth's Chris before, you know what to expect. So all in all, I will keep my future visits to high-end/high-priced steak houses to other venues. Feel free to give this Ruth's Chris a try for the food, but don't have plans to be anywhere after dinner because you could be here awhile."

"Better burgers are found at Brooks! We arrived with a large party (9 and our hostess/manager immediately set to work, rearranging tables so that we all could be seated together. She was extremely attentive to us all evening and looked after our needs with excellent customer service. (Edit: this was the co-owner 's wife, so THANK YOU! Our server was promptly attentive to drink orders and circled back, as needed, while we explored the menu options (yes, the menu is available online and it would be wise to view it in advance to help focus your food selection! .Burgers are made fresh, cooked to your preference (slightly underdone, but still very tasty , and the options are plentiful. The most unique part of the dining experience is the robot (what!?? that delivers the food to your table. The kids definitely were entertained watching the bot roll around with food stacked in it!Appetizers like wings can be ordered as main entrees, and salads also were available, but we were here for the burgers! The donut burger is sticky, but a sweet pairing with the savory burger: the bacon adds a salty compliment, but ask for the bacon to be more well done so it doesn 't turn into a slip 'n slide sloppy mess while eating the burger! The fig 'n fine burger pairs fig jam with goat cheese for a unique and almost sour taste. Adding bacon brought in a new flavor element, but the bank was undercooked so it was not as enjoyable. The accompanying fries as sides for most of our burgers were a hit, especially with the kids. Mac and cheese also was ordered as a side option, though it comes with bread crumbs (as that may be a deal breaker for some kids . It was SUPER hot and a bit messy, but tasted good. After the meal, we went to the adjoining ice cream parlor and ordered a wide variety of hard serve ice cream. Again the hostess/co-owner 's wife, Galadrial, was so very accommodating, working with everyone in our large group, helping us choose and enjoy the experience: It 's this kind of service that will have us coming back, for sure!As for the ice cream although the flavors were plentiful, the variety of options left something to be desired as several flavors tasted off or were just not enjoyable (salty caramel turtle, I 'm looking at you here . If you stick to tried and true standards, most would be happy. The serving size system also is a bit confusing: a single is 2 scoops, double is 3 scoops, triple is 4+ (I 'm all for extra base hits, but jeez! LOL. Normally, extra ice cream is not a bad thing, but it all depends on your flavor selection. Do take them up on trying the flavor in advance before you commit!Come in, bring the kids, and try the burger options for a unique dining experience!Kid-friendliness: Good to bring the kiddos, especially with an ice cream parlor next door!"
