"I have been frequenting Terry 's Terrace probably since birth with family and friends and have seen many changes occur over the years. It has also been my local watering hole for 2 decades, now. Not once have I experienced bad or even questionable service at the bar, not once, especially during the evening hours when all of us crazies are out and about wreaking havoc. This place will always be my home bar, and even when I had ventured to other venues, I have always come back to Terry 's, and Marybeth MB and Maureen Mo are the reasons why I come back. I am treated like royalty by everyone that works there, and there are some special people that work there, too many to name, but those two are specifically my bartenders and have been for almost a decade. I had read a negative review about Terry 's where I questioned why there was an issue regarding the shirts that MB and Mo wear, one specific Resting Bartender Face shirt, and while I am not the distributor of this specific shirt, I am a distributor of shirts much similar to this, some even not suitable to even wear as an employee at a bar. While everyone is entitled to their opinions without objection, I believe these shirts actually create an environment with personality. Terry 's, like any location or person for that matter needs to continue to evolve, and I don 't see anything wrong with a little humor, especially if it cuts across the grain of mundane expectations of others that inhibit people that truly just want to be themselves, and the bar is where you should let loose and just be yourself. It 's a bar...it 's not a school, it 's not work, and it 's definitely not a church. It is an adult environment. People specifically go to that bar to forget about their hectic work day and life problems, have fun, meet with friends, dine, get intoxicated, and enjoy the atmosphere, and over the years, the camaraderie at that bar that has developed is second to none. I have stories from there that I will remember until I am long gone from this earth. I say allow this personality to continue as it lightens the mood, and enhances the atmosphere of Terry 's, and frankly, the shirt isn 't ridiculously offensive and I smile at it cause a sense of humor is essentially necessary and a great quality to have if you want to make any money in the service industry. If people find something offensive but they are in the minority of those being offended, perhaps that 's not the place for those people, and there 's nothing wrong with that, but to take away the characteristics and personality traits of the individuals who have bled, sweat, and cried working at Terry 's, I have an issue with that. The people at a restaurant/bar make it whatever it is good, bad, or indifferent, and that includes the employees and the patrons. Let those people be who they are; it makes for a more intriguing experience."
