The bread baking here is simply PERFECTION, and there’s an array of incredible treats available, including giant freshly baked cookies, scones, and sourdough cheddar rolls. Everything is HAND MADE from scratch, and I can’t emphasize enough how amazing this bakery is. The customer service is fantastic as well. I look forward to the weekend all week long so I can indulge in their freshly baked goodies. The owners are some of the kindest people you’ll meet, and they are extremely dedicated to maintaining high quality. In all my ten years of visiting, I’ve never encountered poorly made bread or baked goods. I absolutely love this place! It’s truly a gem in Highland Park, and we are so fortunate to have it. We’ve tried the honey wheat, honey white, challah, Italian, sourdough, and other varieties – everything is great. The display case is filled with handmade sweet treats that are hard to resist. I adore Breadsmith and am grateful that they are part of my daily routine for good eating."
