"Korean Asian grocery store that has the anything Korean you want, and some of the other Asian stuff you typically can need. Best grocery items to get: fresh poke, afrordable sashimi to do sushi at home, variety of fish, shabu shabu meat, pre-marinated Korean BBQ meats. (I even saw whole fresh cooked lobster today 8 18 2024), ban-chan. There are a few Chinese Viet specific items that can be harder to find unable to find like fish paste, pickled mustard, cha lua, so you still need to go to MT or ranch for Chinese or Viet specialty items but you can generally find everything Asian you need here. Food court: nice casual and clean, and a big variety so every can get what they want. Mostly Korean and Japanese, but asian versions of American food like Korean Fried chicken, fries, hot dogs, are there for your more picky eaters. There is also Tours les Jours bakery that competes with 85 degrees across the parking lot. Drinks are meh, but baked goods always on point. Especially the cakes. KID FRIENDLY!!! Play area and kid size shopping carts always have my kids excited to come even if we are grocery shopping. Do the kid size shopping carts get in the way? Sure, but they love it and most people are nice and think the kids are cute. If you don't want them with the grocery carts, you can tag team with your partner and have them set up in the play area set up like a checkout station while the other grocery shops in peace. (Photos attached). Grocery prices are typically slightly more pricey than Ranch 99 and MT grocery stores, so I go to Hmart for specific items (listed above), and to entertain my kids. However, it's also probably why the place generally feels nicer than the others."
