"The food at the restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend trying the fried mushrooms and the jalapeño popper burger. Asia, the bartender, is exceptional! However, I feel the owner should be more thoughtful about hiring practices and ensuring that candidates have the necessary qualifications before they’re brought on board. My husband worked there as a cook and enjoyed his job, but unfortunately, it came to an abrupt end because he didn’t have a management food safety certificate, which he wasn’t given the chance to obtain. Meanwhile, the cook who was there before him worked for seven weeks without having the certificate either. I understand the importance of following protocols, but these standards should be consistently applied to all employees."
