**Original Review:** Several patrons have referred to this as Dominican food, but I can confidently say it is not. While the restaurant offers a variety of dishes from across Latin America and the Caribbean, the Dominican-style meals I tried were disappointing. The white rice was average, at best, while the stewed beef lacked flavor entirely. The red beans appeared canned and tasted bland. It seems they’re attempting to replicate Dominican and Puerto Rican cuisine but are falling short. I can’t comment on their Central American offerings.
The restaurant’s interior was modest; while the back area was organized, it didn’t appear very clean. Noticing the food’s unappealing state, I opted for a small plate, which cost about $9 and provided one of the smallest portions I’ve seen locally. Given the lackluster taste, I’d prefer to pay a little more at one of the Brazilian restaurants in the area, which typically cost around $13-14 but offer larger portions, greater variety, and, most importantly, much better flavor!
While my experience was disappointing, I’m giving it two stars because the food was still edible, and the staff was friendly. However, I likely won’t be back.
