"Our first year was incredible, last year was less so, this year was just average Every year my friends and I stay in Stamford for our annual trip to New York Comic Con. Two years ago was our first visit to Kona and we were blown away. The restaurant was incredible and beyond anything we could have imagined. Last year the visit was stay great but a drop in quality (the manager on duty last year told us the entire wait staff had quit so we attributed it to that). This year we noticed that drop in quality continued a downward trend. So much so that we had discussed it later on and even compared it to the restaurant we went to the following night which took the place of our favorite place in Stamford. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good and our waitress was great, but instead of an incredible place it is now just average."
