"During my second visit, the waitress was awful. She was incredibly slow, taking 15 minutes just to ask if we wanted drinks after seating us and bringing chips and salsa. When she took our drink and food orders, she took another 15 minutes to return, only to ask if we wanted drinks again. When she finally brought our tacos and two sides of rice and beans, she charged us full price for the tacos despite it being Taco Tuesday. We were supposed to be charged $1.00 each for the tacos, but she claimed that the special didn't start until 4pm, which was not stated anywhere in the restaurant. I ended up paying an extra $12.00 for tacos and a few more dollars for an additional order of rice and beans that I didn't ask for. After giving Oscars two chances since the pandemic, I have decided not to go back. The experience was not worth my time and money."

"The Spanish-themed restaurant is beautifully adorned with an authentic atmosphere that truly captures the essence of dining in Spain. When we visited for dinner on a Saturday, we were lucky to snag one of the last high tables since most of the restaurant was already booked. The tapas options are listed under the Appetizers section and are quite generous, easily serving 3-4 people. We sampled the shrimp and chorizo combo, traditional octopus, and mussels. The shrimp and chorizo dish was especially tasty, with a delectable sauce. The octopus was also quite enjoyable. However, the mussels and seafood marinara were just average. The marinara dish includes lobster, but unlike other upscale restaurants, they do not shell it for you. Unfortunately, the lobster was overcooked and tough. The service was good, though the food took a while to arrive. They also have a variety of drinks and a skilled bartender."

"it is not the first time this business has been under the watch for allowing and serving alcohol to minors. went in for a family dinner only to witness some intoxicated minors walk into the establishment, only to be sat at the bar and served by the owner himself Jose Corona. What was supposed to be a family outing, turned out to be an unpleasant experience. Having children myself this was something very upsetting to see, and despite being warned about their bland food and not so great customer service we still decided to give it a shot! Will not be returning! And as far as security at their doors weekend nights.. its a joke! They charge minors a cover fee to let them in! Anything to sell a buck! Despicable!"

"First things first, it's BYOB, which is great and keeps the cost down. It's not so great if you forget this.Having prefaced my review such, this is an interesting neighborhood gem, for sure. if you like Cuban food already, then you won't be disappointed in any way with the cuisine. It's tasty.We had two entrees: the snapper and pork with rice and black beans. Both were outstanding, with large but not crazy portions.The service was very good, the hostess was a buzzing bee working hard to keep everyone seated and ensured the trains ran on time. The waitress we had was charming and very knowledgeable about the food.With regard to the ambiance, it's important to take a good look at the photo of the restaurant. It's a freestanding, unremarkable small structure. It is small inside and by it was full. Nonetheless, it's clean and enjoyable. This is a casual restaurant for sure. At least two gentlemen declined to remove their baseball caps while they dined"

"The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is excellent! I ordered the Cappellini Pomodoro along with a Caesar Salad, and it was delicious—definitely worth a return visit! Someone else at our table tried the Alfredo sauce but didn’t enjoy it. However, this isn’t a criticism of the restaurant; it was just that the sauce was very creamy rather than cheesy, which might be helpful for future diners to keep in mind. The staff was very friendly, and our waitress was outstanding."

"I recently visited California and had dinner at Mia's! It was amazing! The manchego and pear salad was incredibly fresh and delicious. The chicken piccata was tender and came with a delicious side of zucchini. I finished off the meal with some homemade cookies. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's charming and well-maintained. The staff was also very friendly. I definitely plan on returning to California to dine at Mia's again and try more of their delicious menu options."
