"It was a lovely friendly place and there was Monday night football going on so there was the fans closer to the television enjoying the game. There was a couple with their well trained dog hanging out and having dinner pieces thrown at them. There's plenty of drinks to choose from. A long list of beers and of course for Whiskey scotch lovers there's plenty of cocktail mixed to choose from and they all looked really good. I love Mezcal so I had the Margarita with Mezcal and it was done well but I could drink more easily. I'm glad I didn't have to cross the street to pizza port as the noodle house also carries Pizza Port Santa's Little Helper in their beer menu so I'm satisfied. The spicy wings were not spicy for me but they made it extra crispy for me and that was delicious . Then came the Pho!!! Delicious!!! Didn't have to add anything to it as the broth was already good and just right. There was a good amount of meatballs in mine and other places would be cheap and you would be lucky to find any meatballs in your beefball pho. Services is great and friendly as well. Definitely will be back."

"We ordered take out dinner for 2,Spicy butter chicken, rice, garlic naan bread, and an appetizer. For the price point, The portions were very small. The naan bread looked about half the size as others from videos I had seen on TikTok. It didn’t seem any of the dips (chutney , yogurt) were included in the price of the meal, had to be ordered separately. Our total was about 65$ and were left still feeling hungry. I really appreciated being about to try food from different cultures. The atmosphere was very clean, however there was not one other customer in the store. The quality of the food was good, however the portions do not match the high price tag."

"They have decent Chinese food. I placed an order with them for New Years Eve, $200. I figured since this place only does Chinese takeout they would be able to handle the high demand on New Years Eve. I called my order in at 1pm… for a 7pm pickup. At 7 pm I was told to come back at 9pm and my order (might) be ready then… meanwhile they were taking more phone orders as I am standing there being told my 1pm-phone-order would not be available for pickup, 2-hrs after it was meant for pickup! Totally unacceptable! They should know how many orders they can accommodate without over extending themselves. I canceled my order at 8pm…their failure to pace their orders messed-up my families New Years Eve dinner. We scrambled to find an alternative for takeout food, we settled for Pizza… never again will I order from #1 Taste Chinese"

"I have been going to this place for 10 years. The food was always delicious and the portions were huge. But about 3 or 4 years ago they changed egg rolls. They had delicious egg rolls but then they changed to this mushy frozen egg roll. I was disappointed but I kept going back but didn't order eggrolls anymore. As time went by the taste of the food was changing and it wasn't as good. But I went the other day and the food I ordered wasn't very good. My chop suey was ok but hubby wouldn't eat much of his usual meal that he used to love. He said it wasn't good. I ordered over 40 dollars worth of food that went in the trash. I generally love their hot and sour soup but it was like thick lumpy gravy! It was horrible. I don't know if they changed management or just cooks but I'm very disappointed that it's not my go to place anymore."

"AMAZING!!!!! This is the best Thai Restaurant in St Louis!!!! I just got my food delivered and it’s delicious and they give you HUGE portions!!! I have food that will last me all week. I just got done eating and had to write a review right away. The yellow curry with chicken is amazing. Sauce is perfect thickness not overly watery like some places. I also had the spicy eggplant and I added fried tofu with it and that’s perfectly spicy and delicious!!!! The food is extremely well made with lots of flavor and not chintzy on the chicken or the tofu and eggplant like some places would give you few pieces of chicken and rest sauce and few veggies. I am super please and impressed by this place. The gentleman was very nice over the phone when I ordered and precise and the delivery guy was really nice and fast and efficient. I will be ordering from here a lot!!!!"

"The food is decent but dealing with the people at the counter is painful. Things aren't ready and they've got no care at all for the customer, you'll be standing at the counter while they answer the phone 3 times and assemble someone else's meal that's still incomplete acting like you at the counter are an annoyance.Have dealt with them for my own food and for delivery services and had as much as 20 minute waits where I ended up just leaving empty handed. Either because my own food would be too late or that other orders have to get done professionally and I've had to unassign an order because after 20 minutes I've found out they didn't even start the order yet despite saying 10 minutes twice, costing me any pay for my effort and time."

"I only ordered side items, spring rolls, crab rangoons supposed to be Chinese fried chicken WINGS ! I’m from Chicago we love the way Chinese have their own version of fried chicken it’s delicious if it’s REAL chicken wings done right ! This is a complete SHAME I paid $10.99 for 6 wings and this is what came ? First off where’s the WING in the chicken ! Secondly I don’t believe this meat or animal is a chicken ! "November 2022 Update Jr's Original Peking Duck is back to being an Italian restaurant, so what follows is not relevant any longer : First things first... you might have guessed by the restaurant's name, this is no longer an Italian restaurant! Makesure you're looking at the right reviews and menus when doing your research. We were saddened to hear of Silver Palace'sclosing but delighted to hear the two chefs from Silver Palace were going to be serving up the delicious food we'd becomeaccustomed to at this new location, Jr's Original Peking Duck House. We started with a couple of cocktails Sparkling Blossomand Tokyo Fashion to accompany our appetizers Popcorn Shrimp and Szechuan Dim Sum. Both were delicious and we did a verypoor job of pacing ourselves. We chose the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Sesame Shrimp for our entrees and were delighted bythe aroma and taste of the food. The servings were large and we have plenty left for another meal. Our server I didn't gethis name... sorry!! was fantastic. He was attentive and made an already great dining experience that much better. Definitelygoing back!"

"When I went into the door, the aroma from the kitchen made me very concerned to taste the food. The Jalapeno pure bathroom was exquisite!!! "Ordered takeout food on 5/16/2020 paid $38.00 for what we ordered took the food home which is about 10 min from my house when we opened it up the vegetables were all wilted looks like they were at least a month old and the bean sprouts were literally brown and half rotted the food was soggy and cold in all honesty I would not of fed that slop to my dog we wound up throwin the meal out I understand businesses are hurting due to this virus so we like to try to help support our local resteraunts but they shoud be ashamed of themselves for selling food like that obviously no one is oredering much food for take out so the food is old and been sitting for probabaly a month I can guarantee this slop pit will never survive selling that disgusting food I would tell anyone thinking of ordering take out food from COLONIAL QUY BAU to save your money because you are going to get food that has been sitting for God knows how long, that was the most horrible food we have ever had and I never write reviews but I felt compelled to let others know stay away from that Garbage Depot!!! Save your money unless you want to get Sick!!!"
