"The French Bistro is a unique Argentinian style steak house with a French twist as the name would imply. However the menu covers a broad array of special dishes lending to the extremely engaging owners talent for handling all styles of cuisine. From the broad selection of appetizers covering both the expected (escargot) and unexpected (Picada Sharing Board) to excellent onion soup, the main courses cover a complete spectrum with six unique creations of filet mignon, many excellent beef creations, lamb chops, multiple tender chicken dishes, pork and a broad selection of seafood. Beyond the excellent flavor, it's the portions that blow you away, as each of us received not one but two cuts of filet mignon each, with one at least 10 and the other 12 ounces or more. We had enough for dinner again the following night. Leave room for desert, particularly the Crepe Caramel Flambe with Rum....which is to die for. Honest to God! Possibly the finest desert we've ever had.......bar none. All this and at a very reasonable price. Visit soon before this moderately busy family owned restaurant is discovered by all and scoring a reservation requires calling weeks in advance.
