"This place used to be excellent. Since the new owners took over, the food has suffered. The chicken in my buffalo calzone was dripping wet, clearly canned chicken with buff sauce. GROSS!!! The pizza is burnt cardboard taste, and the calzones that used to be loaded with toppings and cheese are now paper thin. These guys cut every possible corner to save money. Nice people, but the food SUCKS. I’m surprised they’re still in business after 2 years of ownership."

"Disappointed in the direction Amore is going. I used to love their chicken parm, but I’m not sure what’s going on with the cooks. Sauce was watery and flavorless, chicken was soggy and the delivery came with sauce leaking through the bag all over. Quite a mess. And no garlic knots were included, my favorite part!The last 2 times I’ve ordered I’ve been displeased. I hope you guys can turn it around, I’d like to support you, but there are a lot of other places in town that I can order from instead. Update: Management called me the next day, they were extremely concerned and appreciated the feedback. They were eager to make a right and make improvements! I appreciate their commitment to making Amore the place everyone loves! If you have any issues contact them, they strive to be the best and have wonderful customer service. I’m happy to have them part of the borough!"

"The experience at Juventus Pizza was awesome and exceeded our expectations. I chose to eat lunch here at the restaurant because I wanted a quick and affordable lunch but still tasting good! The service was very friendly and made me feel like I was at home. The food was on point, nothing was missing! Everything was just perfect. Not to mention they have a new deal, called appetizer sampler, that you need to try…which includes a pie, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks and even a 2 liter soda for a great price! I've been to other pizzerias but nothing will compete to Juventus Pizza!"

"I have been to the Downtown numerous time over the past 50 year under different ownerships. I want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered take out from the Downtown I was surprisingly disappointed. I ordered two fish and chips to go. I found the containers to be light, but didn't check inside until I got home. To my astonishment there was a small piece of fish and no chips in both orders. I returned the items and was offered a new order which I declined due to my disguss. I received a refund. This should nerver happen. Somebody just wasn't paying attention to what they were doing. So, after 50 years as a patron, I'm done with the Downtown."
