"Stopped for lunch while at one of the museums across the street! Beautiful little restaurant, and all the people were so kind, especially to my kids. The kids menu was great and all the prices were very reasonable. The food was really tasty. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was really glad we ended up walking over. Highly recommend!!!"

"One of our favorite spots on 2nd Street! We ordered the rainbow roll ????, a yellowtail hand roll, and the chicken udon ???? The fish is so fresh and delicious, and the udon was great as well! Service here is always the friendliest and most helpful, and Ilove the atmosphere. Come try it if you haven?t yet!"

"I would like to see more consistency in both quality and portion sizes. I would have rated it four stars otherwise. I visited the restaurant twice. The first time, I had the whole fish, which was delicious, and the sides were fresh and abundant. However, during my second visit, I ordered the salmon, which was just okay—it was a bit too oily for my taste. I chose mixed vegetables and plantains as sides, but I noticed the vegetables were not fresh and were rather dull. The atmosphere also felt less vibrant compared to my first visit. I’m willing to give it another try and hope they improve their consistency in quality and portion sizes. Thank you."

"I ordered the Hibachi Chicken Steak and Hibachi Chicken, and both dishes came in huge portions with an abundance of flavor. They included the sauces typically served at a hibachi restaurant, which was a nice touch. We also tried the Gyoza and Dumpling Soup, and both were delicious. Everything was served hot, and we enjoyed every bite. It's a fantastic place!"

"My husband, who is autistic, visited KC Teriyaki today to pick up dinner. He was standing to the side, looking at the menu, when an older Asian gentleman, who appeared to be the cook, suddenly started yelling at him. He demanded that my husband either place an order or leave. Despite this, my husband ended up ordering $57 worth of food but did not leave a tip. Given the terrible treatment he received, I believe they did not deserve a tip at all. We definitely will not be returning."

"I lived in Guatemala for a couple years and ran into this restaurant there a little over a decade. Apparently they've made it far from home now. Now for the food itself: the horchata is more authentic than the majority of other Latino restaurants. Yuca could replace the potato if more people actually knew about it (aka delicious). Fried sweet plantaín is absolutely divine. I don't even like bananas but holy cow this is straight candy. Salty plantain chips are dumb when this is even an options. The trouble is that I have yet to find someone who feels as passionately about this as I do. Complaining: They were always expensive there but wow they are just that much more money here. Nuggies for over a buck a piece?! To be fair, Chick-Fil-A does the same thing but there's a reason I whine about them too haha. I suppose I'm too much of a tight wad for my own good. Rant continued: Something I find absolutely hilarious is that they serve a Mexican hot sauce with the food here ... Anyone who knows anything about Chapines (Guatemalans) would know that most of them aren't exactly fond of their neighbor there and that the majority don't use spicy stuff on their food. To be fair, here in Texas, the majority of the customers do so it's understandable that they adapt. When I finished eating, I couldn't find the trash can."
