"This Lebanese restaurant is fantastic and offers a wide variety of vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. My go-to dishes are the Vegetarian Meza ($23) which includes hummus, tabouleh, garlic tahini, fattoush, dolma, falafel, mixed pickles, and I request to substitute the baba ghanouj made with yogurt for toum. Another favorite of mine is the Cauliflower Tagine ($10) topped with tahini sauce, sumac, and roasted almonds."

"I would give 5 stars BUT me and my wife had to wait for about 15 minutes just to get our drinks and tell them what we want to order. other then that, the people were friendly and the food was really good! only reason i knocked a star off is because we had a long wait to get food. Its very small inside so you are very close to other tables and people but you also have outside dining if you get overwhelmed with that like me lol. overall I would recommend eating here if you are not in a rush and have about an hour for breakfast."

"Great place for cheap but sweet ro homes. The Rick's Famous Fish Sandwich (blackened) is great, as much as I had twice now. The relaxed environment of a beach bar is beautiful on foot to an open table, tilt the service sign and you are on the way. The view is beautiful and there is a decent amount of covered seats outside. Service is always friendly and the prices are decent. We look forward to more visits."

"This restaurant is located on the ground floor at the end of a street in the Mosaic District. You place your order at the counter, grab your own utensils, and your food is then delivered to your table. The background music is at a pleasant volume. They offer a selection of wine and beer. The service was quick and friendly. I tried the Feta Avocado Wrap (without feta), which was quite tasty, filling, and had a bit of a spicy kick, although it was a bit oily. It came with one side; my side salad, which included sun-dried tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables, was fresh and crunchy. However, it was drenched in a heavy dressing."

"To be honest, I wasn’t planning on visiting this shop due to the reviews. However, this shop is across the street from the Marriott’s Courtyard where I was staying in at the time. I asked the two hotel check-In reps about the deli across the street and surprisingly they recommend this place. So I give this place a shot with an order of their Buffalo chicken sub and a Pepsi. The sub was much better then what I imagine and the guy who made my sub wasn’t remotely racist or mean. He was actually talkative and cool with me(Jamaican/eastern Indian). The one time I ignored the reviews and it was definitely worth it!"

"If you're planning a visit, make sure to opt for take-out. This family-owned pizza place is quite small, featuring just one high-top table and a high-top bar that can accommodate a couple of people. While you wait, you can watch the pizzas being made and chat with the owners. The only downside to Pomodoro's is that if you're not familiar with the area, you might easily walk or drive right past it. The only signage out front simply reads 'Pizza,' which adds to its hidden gem charm. You'll find it at the intersection of Galiano and Coral Way, diagonally across from the Ale House."

"Let's start with the positives: the service was excellent. Q was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The appetizers were decent overall. The mozzarella sticks tasted more like whole string cheeses that had been deep-fried, but unfortunately, they had an oily flavor reminiscent of fish. The pretzel sticks were good, though they came with standard nacho cheese rather than the advertised beer cheese. The menu features “Atlantic Cod From Alaska,” which is quite amusing, considering that Alaska is on the Pacific Ocean—so which is it? As for the burgers, they were overcooked, bland, and underseasoned, lacking any sauce or distinct flavor beyond the bacon. The bread was soggy on one side and overly crisp on the other, and it didn’t even have the Parmesan crust that was promised. Overall, the quality did not match the price point. The service was nice, but I probably won’t return. I can only assume it gets lively with the live music."

"Delicious. Atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and exceptionally clean.Decided to meet a friend here for lunch. We both selected the buffet. The meats were fresh and full of flavor. The salad and vegetables were crisp. Service was exceptional. As we finished our meal I was offered a piece of baklava, also delicious. I finished the meal with a glass of Turkish coffee. Easily the best lunch I have been to in a while and longer than I can recall. Employees were friendly and inviting. If you are considering a visit, stop kicking the tires and take a ride down to Yafa Grill."

"I was baffled and asked how they could have live music for two hours without serving any food—that seemed ridiculous to me. I then ordered a Jägermeister with Red Bull, only to be told they were out of Jäger as well. This was not the best beginning, so I settled for a Diet Coke. My friends’ food arrived shortly afterward, even with the kitchen reportedly closed. While they were still eating, our waitress (and I use that term loosely as she clearly needs training) interrupted them as soon as my friend's beer was finished, asking if they wanted to settle their tab. They were still in the middle of their meal and were discouraged from getting another drink, resulting in them closing their tab instead. She then approached me and asked if I wanted to close my tab as well. I agreed, paying for my Diet Coke just to avoid further interaction with her. I was appalled by the service and gave her a tip of just a dollar, which may have even been too generous. I understand that kitchens can run low on supplies, but if you’re hosting a live band night, you should be prepared for increased demand for food and drinks. My friends had previously praised the mozzarella sticks and the hospitality, but those qualities were clearly absent last night. I also recommend taking some time to clean the women’s bathroom. All in all, if the band performs there again, we’ve decided to dine elsewhere before heading to the show."

"This gem is just off the main square. A quick walk will take you to one of the best delis I've had the pleasure of trying in quite some time. First off, despite the ongoing Covid situation, they are accessible, friendly, and serve the freshest sandwiches you could ask for! I tried the Veggie Muffaletta, and it was amazing! My daughter ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she’s had in a long time. To top it all off, the service was quick, and the outdoor seating was set in a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely return on future visits to Stanford Hospital."
