"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and it was a delightful experience. The price per person ranged from $50 to $100. The food was excellent, I would rate it a 5. The service was top-notch as well, earning another 5 rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a 5, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment. "My husband ordered gumbo. I thought the portion size looked rather small. He said it was ok. I ordered bourbon trail tips. These were beef tips marinated in ABC bourbon. My plate was lukewarm when served to me. I really hate being served cold food. I felt the beef had this taste to it, other than the bourbon marinade. I couldn't finish the meat. My mashed potatoes was a small pile, as if an ice cream scoop was used to plate them. No gravy. I somehow thought the beef tips would have more gravy or sauce on them, too. But no. So I asked for a side of gravy, which was pretty tasty. The veggies on the plate were a mix of zucchini and baby peeled carrots. All the large carrots were barely cooked and the smaller ones were overcooked. All in all, it was a strange meal, but it was a busy Friday night and we were hungry. No time to send food back. Thank God for their wonderful Jolly Scot beer. We love that beer. So, yes, we'll be back. But I feel that we shouldn't have to justify a 'just ok' meal because the restaurant is busy. And it seems like the whole restaurant industry should address food temperatures"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"First time in and honestly we weren't impressed with the food at all...The food just didn't have the omph normally found in a Hispanic restaurant.There needs to be more of a clarification with your soups when it comes to bowls or cups.. A few people asked numerous questions to the server when ordering about portions and they were told the bowl but when the bowl came out it was actually a cup...My order listed the items it came with but when delivered it was missing the sour cream so I asked for it when the bill came there was a separate charge...."

"We had a wonderful dinner! I would give it 5 stars. We ordered the build-your-own pasta, along with the antipasto salad and garlic bread, and the portions were very generous! I'm really glad we chose to avoid all the chain restaurants and tourist traps. It’s definitely worth the drive, and I highly recommend that everyone tries it at least once to form their own opinions."

"I have no idea what happened to this place the food used to be amazing! Unfortunately, it's gone way down hill. We usually get the roast beef dinner (sandwich and onion rings), and an additional medium roast beef sandwich. Usually everything tastes fresh and delicious, however this time, the roast beef was like torn little tasteless shreds on both sandwiches. And when I say shreds, I mean like it was comparable to wet torn straw wrappers disgusting! Not only this, but the bottom bun on one sandwich was SOGGY, while both buns on the other sandwich were pretty stale. Another issue that they have never seemed to fix was the lack of toppings that you ask for. I don't understand why they skimp out on the toppings for the sandwiches when they charge so much for them. Good news though, they improved on the oil drenched onion rings (or at least with this last order). With that being said, I don't think I'll be returning for a while until they've improved. Hopefully management can get a better hold on things."

"We were hungry and were looking for a place nearby. We used to eat there, but I didn't make any reviews at the time and couldn't remember if we liked them. When we moved in at 8ish on a Saturday night and the parking lot was not very full, it seemed like a strike against them. We went in and sat fast. On the way to the table, however, I could see two cabins with large sections of the seating panel and the wooden tables had seen better days. Strike two. We sat at a stand with a tear in the size of a frisbee. No lie! Strike three was the menu that was worn and so sticky that the pages were glued together. This is a pet of mine. I can't sticky, grimy menus!!! I mean, come to people I touch my menu and then maybe touch my food. GROSS! If I wasn't so slow, (yes, not hungry, hungry) that could have been the time when I came out. Unfortunately we stayed.... Service was okay, but not the greatest we ever had. The waitress came around several times, but disappeared during the lunchtime. The saving grace is that the food was really good. Hubby had buffalo chicken wrap and subbed out fries for a salad with bleu cheese. Dressing was good and he likes his Bleu cheese. Salad was good with fresh ingredients and delicious grapes. Wrap was a decent size with some heat and good taste and decent chicken, but well proportional to salad, and tomatoes. Ranch Dressing on the packaging. He also had an IPA that was on special sale. I had the fish and chips and underbed regular frits for Parmesan garlic frying. The pommes were really good with lots of parmesan and not with an overwhelming garlic taste. The fish had a crispy, slightly fritted cover on it, which when you in it a little discovered the damp, large pieces of white fish. The fish had a good taste and no fishy taste like some. There were three hooded fish. More than enough. And a bunch of pommes. There was also lemon, malt vinegar and a delicious tartaric acid sauce that was delicious. I would definitely go back there because the food was so good, but next time I find out what I want before time so I don't have to touch their menus."

"While the atmosphere may be lacking, the service truly shines. The staff went above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience. The food is typical pub fare, but it’s elevated by a variety of delicious house sauces that come with the meal. I ordered a veggie burger with waffle fries, and I couldn't get enough of the sauce (I believe it was chipotle and blue cheese). Although it was probably intended for the fries, I ended up using it on everything! I was there for a birthday party, and our waiter was incredibly attentive, offering great suggestions. He even took the time to check with the kitchen about ingredients and got back to us, showing a real commitment to our satisfaction and making sure the birthday celebration was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a small gathering or a cozy meal with friends. As for vegetarian options, they do have a veggie burger, but avoid the pasta side since the waiter mentioned it’s cooked in chicken stock."

"CHECK YOUR FOOD, BECAUSE THEY WON 'T. Just ordered a large meat-lovers stromboli and brought it home. As we 're eating, there are some very chewy/stringy pieces in it. One got caught in my throat and I had to pull it out to stop gagging on it. It looked like the casing from the pepperoni. I picked some of the other pieces of pepperoni out of the boli and they all had casings still on them. (I could peel the casings off the individual slices. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to someone about a problem with my order. The man I spoke to (don 't know if he gave me his name or not said there is no casing on their pepperoni when they buy it so there can 't be casings in my boli. I told him I pulled it out of my throat and from a bunch of pieces I pulled from my plate. He said he 'd make me another boli but it would have the same pepperoni in it as the one I already had. I said I didn 't want another one with the same pepperoni with casings on them. He was laughing as he was talking to me throughout the conversation. He asked what I wanted him to do and I said that not laughing would be a start. I offered to bring the boli back so he could see the casings, he said I could but there 's nothing wrong with their pepperoni and the only thing he could do is make me another one with the same pepperoni. I asked what his position was there and he said I might as well call him the manager because he makes the food and said he didn 't know what I expected him to do. I told him I wouldn 't be ordering anything else since they didn 't seem concerned about what they are serving to their customers (not even an offer to check their pepperoni in case their supplier gave them bad product . He said, Fair enough . I know pizza shops tend to have a younger, inexperienced staff, but the shop owner should be aware that they are putting customers at risk and think it 's a joke. Not only did they deny there was any problem with the food; they obviously had no intention of checking their ingredients to make sure they are safe to be served to other customers. "DISAPPOINTING!!!!!! Had family in from out of town, decided to make the trek from Queen Creek to this location because the food is always good. Can say I wont be coming back. The issue was not the food, it was the service. HORRIBLE!!! Our waitress had the personality of a rock. I ordered a cheeseburger with meat, cheese and bun only. Burger finally made it to the table with no cheese, lettuce and pickle. After telling the waitress my oder was incorrect, she literally looked at me with a blank stare, did not say a single word, took the plate and walked away. 10 min. Later she returned, again, did not apologize and set the plate down in front of me and walked away. I do not understand people in the service industry that have NO PERSONALITY, or could careless. THEN, I decided to pay cash, which took about 30 minutes to get me change, or MOST OF MY CHANGE, i should say. Waitress returns with my bills and asks me did you want your 20 cents as well? I didn 't feel like waiting another 30 minutes so I told her to forget it. But this was a first for me. I should have asked her if she wanted her tip as well. **** poor service, and there are too many good restaurants out there to waste my time with businesses that don 't appreciate you. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the server in particular. Wont be back anytime soon."

"We had planned to enjoy dinner with live music at Tiny Tapp, having had a great time there over the summer. I managed to convince my husband and our friends to join us this time. Unfortunately, there turned out to be no band that night, which was a letdown. The staff didn't seem very informed about it; the waitress even told my husband, "Oh, we don’t have music." Eventually, we found out that the band had canceled, but we were unable to move to a different seat away from the speakers.
