"Caffe Gelato catered a few work events I attended and has never disappointed. I decided to drive out of state to enjoy a special event they had last night. Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Dinner. OMG ! Am I glad I did. It was 7 delicious courses paired with out of this world bourbon ????. The restaurant was totally full for this popular sold out event. However the service was still outstanding. The food was incredible. Nice job Caffe Gelato. We will be back. I highly recommend"

"They obviously forgot our order I understand that happens— for we waited an inordinately long time , so much do that we had to call over our waitress to ask what happened. She should have contacted us after seeing how long we were waiting and though the Mgr did come over to apologize and took off our check , it couldn’t help but leave a bad taste in our mouths. The steaks were somewhat average—but I will say the chocolate dessert and espresso martini were outstanding ! Too many good steak houses in boston to go back"

"We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"This place is amazing! From the moment my family and I walked in until we left, it felt less like a restaurant and more like being with family. The staff treated us wonderfully, and I loved how they consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. "I remember their salads being served in large family-style bowls, filled with onions and a delicious dressing, but that wasn't the case anymore. The salads now came in individual bowls, looking like pre-packaged garden salads that had been sitting in the fridge for who knows how long. The type of lettuce used was different, and even the dressing seemed off. I was so disappointed that I pushed it aside and opted for the minestrone soup instead. The minestrone was quite good, though it could have used more noodles. My family ordered a variety of dishes—there were five of us in total: pizza, eggplant Parmesan, chicken Vesuvio, fettuccine Alfredo, and bowtie pasta in creamy vodka sauce. My husband, who also grew up in the area and always orders the chicken Vesuvio, said it tasted completely different this time and was over-salted. He found the chicken dry and didn’t enjoy it. Thankfully, my bowtie pasta still tasted familiar. However, I found myself downing water because the food was unusually salty—I couldn’t remember it being that way before. The prices have certainly increased, which we’ve all become accustomed to post-Covid, but for five people, our bill came to around $177 plus tip. Only two of us ordered alcohol; my mother-in-law and I each had a glass of rosé priced at $10 each. To our surprise, it arrived in a glass that was barely filled to a quarter. I was not pleased with that. We were also shocked by how empty the restaurant was for a Saturday night at 7 PM—it was nearly deserted. Such a stark contrast to what I remembered."

"my man and I visited this diner on Friday morning and we both had our masks up and decided to sit on the back at one of the stands. there were these dame who worked the casser and every time she would pass our table, she would cough loudly. first I thought wow, she should wear a mask if she doesn't feel good, but after the third time, my man and I observed that she did it only every time she went past the table. Finally, the previous time (yes it was a forward) she did the fake cough thing and admired her coworkers); that strengthened what we suspected was doing it before. I thought that would not be nice to treat customers who wear their masks in an NJ restaurant. the bad news is, we will never return this dune thanks to it; the good news is raymond is just a few steps away and is much more inviting with better manage and customer service."

"I visited the restaurant for a second time when it opened at 11am. The lady who attended to me was extremely nice and friendly. I ordered a box of food to take to my doctor's office. Although they were a bit behind schedule, I received my fresh, succulent, and delicious meal in just 15 minutes. My number one favorite is the brown butter doughnut, which was heavenly. I also tried the revamped guava doughnut, which had a delicious guava cream center and cookie crumble that added the perfect texture. It struck the perfect balance of sweetness. This is definitely my favorite donut shop in Miami. After trying them again, I realized that the size of the donuts is perfect as it is, so I retract my previous suggestion to make them bigger."

"My husband and I visited the restaurant to check if they had any freshly made pies and slices after 5 PM. I asked a young girl behind the counter, who wasn't particularly friendly, and she informed me that they didn't have any. I expressed my disinterest in ordering pizza slices that had been sitting out for a while. I also pointed out that leaving any type of meat pizza on the counter poses a health risk, as it could make customers sick. To my surprise, the girl told me not to mention that the pizza wasn't fresh in front of other customers. However, it was just my husband and me there, and I asserted my right to speak my mind. Who is she to tell a potential customer how to express their feelings? Her attitude was very unprofessional, and she could benefit from learning more about American culture and hospitality. I worked at various prestigious country clubs during high school and college, always striving to accommodate members. This employee should be replaced with someone who is friendlier, more welcoming, and less rigid. I decided to leave and would advise others to steer clear of this restaurant."

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"that was our worst experience in a restaurant. rosebud has failed for my birthday party. they brought out the four derées for the four adults and left the two children waiting for their derées for 20 minutes. when we immediately asked where the food was the children, they told us very briefly that it comes, but I could see that they put the pizza in the oven after they served the adult. when my man told the manager, it is not good practice to bring out all the kidnappers of the adult and let the children wait 20 minutes when they ask for their food, he said rudely: "no excuse me, what else should I do?" manager I have ever seen the worst in a restaurant in my whole life. ruined the birthday, ruined the dinner, ruined our impression of rosebud forever. Moreover, the fish special was fishy and had no taste at all."
