"Once again Mortons demonstrates it's inability to prepare a steak at medium temperature. It took two return trips to the cook and the end result was a filet mignon that was ruined. To their credit the other entree's were closer to what was desired and only one entree was cooked perfectly as ordered. Not the time this has happened nor the last I am afraid to say. You would have thought the ruined steak would have been removed from the bill but instead, a free desert was offered. The only thing that saved this special occasion birthday dinner on Mother's Day was the great table service and the company"

"Overall, the food was delicious. I absolutely loved the fries and filet. However, the service was quite disappointing! After we were finally seated, it took a long time for the waitress to come to our table. We received our water, but we were still waiting for the bread. Our appetizer arrived, yet the bread had still not been served. Eventually, the main course came out, and we still didn't have our bread. We had to ask a different waitress for it. Our waitress seemed more focused on another table than on us; she didn’t check on how our meal was or if we needed anything. After we finished our dinner, we requested a to-go box, but instead received the check. We waited an entire hour for our card to be returned, but the box never came. We had to ask another waitress for that as well. We hardly received any water refills, and it felt like our waitress wasn’t paying attention to our needs at all. Overall, I can only give two stars for the dining experience."

"Let start with the good The food was very good Now the bad This is a high end restaurant and when you spend $300 on dinner you expect exceptional service We had to ask for bread, ask for water to be refilled At times our server was no where to be found and the restaurant was almost empty. We were never asked if we wanted more bread either. Kitchen did a good job food did come out in a timely manner . But as stated restaurant was almost empty as well . I go to a lot of steakhouse and if service was better would have made this more of a regular. But service does not justify the price"

"Wife and I spent an impromptu date night expecting the Morton experience we have become accustomed to. Unfortunately the service was often distracted and inattentive. Further, After waiting more than 30 minutes to gain our servers attention, our intended to go items were tossed away without our input. Dessert was haphazardly served followed promptly by the bill. "Great hospitality. The staff understands many of their patrons are there for a special occasion. They presented us with a card and photo of our party as a souvenir which we appreciated. Our menu was also personalized for this October birthday. A freshly baked onion and garlic topped bread was served before dinner. We chose the traditional creamed spinach as our side; bland with a trace of nutmeg. If we all hadn 't had potato sides for lunch we would have chosen the twice baked Au Gratin potatoes. Two eight ounce filet mignon steaks had mixed results. Mine, ordered rare was too under cooked and I took half home, as a result. The other, ordered medium rare, was satisfactory. Our party member who ordered the prime Manhattan cut, thought it was too charred and crispy on the outside but cooked to order at medium. Dessert was generously gratis for all three of us since they recognized our birthdays were all in the same week. Two of us shared a crème Brulèe and the actual birthday celebrant enjoyed Morton 's legendary hot chocolate cake, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, and a caramel drizzle."

"Started at the bar for cocktails. Happy to be offered complimentary bread butter while we waited. Bartender was nice, drinks were fine, but understaffed for the business and took awhile to get our check. Attended a financial event in back room. Dinner was good, however servers did not seem happy to be there, water service was lacking, and was turned down when our table requested more bread. "The food was amazing. I got the Wagyu filet mignon and my husband ordered the Porterhouse. We added the black truffle butter which was delicious! For appetizers we ordered the Ahi Poke, was good but not what we were expecting. We also ordered the Jumbo shrimp cocktail which is always very tasty! Our server Ed was really what made our dining experience great. He went above and beyond for us and was very attentive despite having many other tables to attend to, as well as a guest that had issues with some reward program. He also surprised us with the famous Morton’s Hot Chocolate cake which was the perfect end to our meal. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful dining experience Ed! "I went to Morton last night with my fiancée for my 30th birthday. My first time and it was amazing. Personalized birthday message in the menu?! Never seen! It surprised me! I love it! The atmosphere was amazing, as well as the beautiful hosts (I wish I have their name) our server Natalie. Natalie made my fiancée and I feel so welcome that she was so helpful. If I'm ever back in Ft. Lauderdale, I definitely ask you to have it back as our server. But I was sad to see how she was treated by a table that sat against us. Disgusting behavior, Natalie DID NOT earn. I wish I had spoken, but I was worried that it would have made the experience for Natalie even worse. She deserves so much praise for dealing with such respect. No one, and I mean NO ONE, should be treated as she was treated. But she treated her with such grace. I, being a server, wouldn't have been so generous. We even tipped them in cash just to make for what they didn't tip when they even tipped them. But all this aside, thanks for such an amazing experience. We will definitely return!"

"We were early. We had no problem waiting. When we sat down we were only given a wine menu and no food menus. Then, we asked after minutes of being seated and no one addressed us and they said our server would be with us to give us menus. Mind you this is our first time here so how would we know. Our bread was not cooked (dough like inside), the wrong soup came out, they did not clear the table before bringing the main entree and did not know where to put things like we needed to figure it out, and then the worst was when we were leaving....not one person addressed us and said thank you for coming/dining with us or anything. It was the strangest thing. The food was good....the overall service was not."

"Honestly we enjoyed our meal and our experience. For my wife and I including two glasses of wine the entire meal was $330. No complaints there but some things were subpar. At that level of restaurant I expect the asparagus to be peeled at the base of the asparagus and not just served with the tips cut. Also, when the food was brought to the table, they auctioned off the food. There was only two of us but they did not understand position numbers and know what food went to whom. Finally, my Wagyu steak came out not hot. The lobster tail that accompanied it was piping hot so I'm assuming that the steak was finished before the lobster and sat in the window. I sent it back to be warmed up and the person that brought it to me was the same person that auctioned off the food originally, asked me to cut into it and see if this is cooked properly and then he walked away before I even cut into the steak. These are finer points of service that I just have an expectation higher for Morton's level of restaurant."

"Our first time at Morton’s ! Will certainly be back ! We had a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Max, was very attentive personable. "I want to preface this with stating our server was great. The poor quality service had nothing to with them directly. We were seated on time, however we were not given menus when we were seated. Finally, 30 minutes later, we were asked if we wanted a drink and that’s when we were able to ask for menus. Nobody approached us for 30 minutes. Additionally, multiple runners had brought food to our table that was not ours, our meals were not cooked as ordered, silverware settings were incomplete, and due to being understaffed the experience dragged on way longer than it should have. Food was pretty good! But the management needs to do a better job of managing- this is not the fault of any individual server."

"Where to start. VIP Landry’s member. Had to remind them of free cocktail. They don’t have any of the specials that Atlantic City, our home Morton’s has. Surprising! Steak undercooked. Manager asked if he could treat us to dessert. Great! But didn’t take it off charge. Mac and cheese was comparable to a good Kraft product. Not Morton’s and never saw the oven. So needless to say for two steaks, Mac and cheese, shrimp cocktail and a wedge was a lot of money. If our Morton’s was like this I would never go. And we eat in Morton’s six-seven times a year. Shame!"

"We were excited to go to Morton's Steakhouse. While we had an enjoyable experience, we didn't find it be be worth the price of admission. The interior of the restaurant is lovely. We had a reservation on a Monday night and were seated in the middle of the dining room under a cold AC vent. I would have appreciated a more private booth as I told them it was my husband's birthday. So, that was little disappointing. Then, my husband ordered a filet and it was tender but stringy, like a piece of stew meat! Half of it was overdone. My NY Strip was delicious and the cognac peppercorn sauce also delicious. Sides were just very okay. Drinks were average. Our service was good and overall we had a nice evening. However, the bill was about $331 and I think we get better food at one of the competing steakhouses in town. I'd come back for the bar only."

"Ah, Morton's. The classic fine dining steakhouse. It's known as one of the best for a reason. They consistently serve ultra delicious food. The service is the only inconsistent aspect. Some waiters are amazing. Some are "eh". My father and I have been to Morton's somewhere around 6-7 times. It's always a great experience. My appetizer of choice is the prime rib Tacos. Man, those things are unexpectedly good. Very fresh and clean. For the main course, I'm a ribeye man. Morton's was my first steak from a fine establishment. I could barely speak the entire meal. It was THAT good. Even the sides are delicious. Desserts are pretty good. I'd rather grab some ice cream on the way home and save $20 personally, but that's just me. For me, the atmosphere is the highlight of Morton's. The lighting and the color scheme are perfect for a high-end eating experience. Morton's will always hold a special place in my heart. Verdict- One of my favorite places to eat. Aside from spotty(but normally very good) service and underwhelming desserts, it's a perfect place to celebrate any ocassion."
