"Everything was very pleasant, and the service from the maitre d' and waitstaff was excellent. My only issue was that I had made a reservation for a special pre-theatre dinner with my children (one traveling from abroad, one coming from LA, and another from San Francisco) for Thanksgiving weekend, as we were attending an opera. Unfortunately, we were seated in a cramped, dark corner with an open view of the working kitchen, which was quite noisy, despite a four-seater table available by the front window. By the time I attempted to request a seat change, that brighter, more spacious table had already been taken by walk-in customers, and the larger table was apparently reserved. We ended up back in our small corner, which was disappointing and quite frustrating. However, the servers managed the situation well. Given we only had an hour before we needed to pick up our opera tickets, they were incredibly quick with our orders, and the food was excellent. So while I was dissatisfied with the seating arrangements (they definitely need to improve the spacing), I have to give high marks for the staff, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the restaurant's convenient location to the performing arts!"
