"Frankie Augie'Z does it again! We ordered food to be catered for our daughter's graduation party and everything came out perfect! The food was delivered on time delivery person was very helpful as we had someone receiving the food for us who could not carry the trays. Food was hot and delicious trays were full with more than enough food for everyone to enjoy. We also ordered a sicilian style cut white pizza to have as an appetizer and it was fresh hot, cheesy and plenty of garlic! Love when a restaurant cares about what they do its what keeps us going back for more. Thanks again for the awesome food and service."

"We found this Gem by accident as we were at the Lake Grove fair and googled places to eat near by. There were 6 of us and everyones food was amazing. I had a special shrimps and clams with a special macaroni the best i have had and i have had thisdish many times at other places. My Wife had the Lobster Ravoli Amazing!!! My 4 Sisters had a special Chicken dish with RigatoniAmazing. Then if that was not enough the Homemade Desserts out of this world the Lemon cake the Icecream cake and the Cheesecake WOW!! The owners are amazing they make you feel like your eating dinner with Family!!! If you dont try this place you aremissng out!!! We have found our new favorite place."

"I wish they would keep the sangria bottles the same size. Just frustrating for them to keep making changes. Wasn't having issues for the longest time until they rang my order up wrong recently and when I came back they apparently changed the bottles again? I wouldn't have minded if they'd been properly filled but it complicates things. On top of that these came overly carbonated and weak I know every bottle can't be identical to the last and they claim all of it is made by batch, but the last bottle we got very recently had no hint of carbonation in it? Idk who they have stocking the supplies/bottles or ingredients or if it's a bartender substituting things this time around but consistency is a GOOD thing... At least it's not chalky like the issues I had a while ago? Idk. I like coming to this location because it's closer and I love the sangria when it's made right, but I may have to switch to the one on the other side of EP if they can stock things properly over there if that's why. Probably will still go here for convenience but 2019 is going on 5 years ago now if it's down to a chain supplier issue."

"I tried the fried gizzards and fries, and I absolutely loved it! The food was hot and delicious. It had been quite a while since my last visit, and I noticed that the gizzards are a bit smaller and firmer than I remember. I suppose the food industry is still bouncing back from the effects of COVID."

"We held a holiday party here in December 2023 and everyone who attended was very impressed with the personal touch given by John Slattery and his staff. Planning the party was made very simple because they are very accommodating and flexible. All questions were answered, John was extremely responsive to emails making it a very easy decision to go with this venue! The food was excellent, great variety and plenty!! Also, compared to other venues during the Holiday season in the heart of NYC, this was the best bang for our buck! The location is also excellent, located right near the Empire State Building, Penn Station and Grand Central, making it an ideal location for anyone to travel to this location from anywhere, really! The balcony on the second floor added a great touch, giving us the option to go outdoors, while still having the option to stay indoors- all within the privacy of our own party space. If you're thinking of having an event, big or small, don't waste your time calling other places. This is the best one!! If you're a sports enthusiast, you'll DEFINITELY love this place even more!! Sports memorabilia, great spot to watch games, hold a Superbowl party, or any other party!! Five stars, A Highly recommend Slatterys!!!"

"We're visiting Austin. And wanted some authentic Chinese food. Saw the pictures of the table settings which reminded me of when I was a kid and I used to go to Chinese restaurants with my grandmother. We ordered the Pu Pu platter. Tasted just like I remember amazing. Also ordered the sesame chicken so good flavor was on spot Also got for the table the two type chicken which was a spicy chicken and a sweet chicken and man it was so good. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee wow I do have to say they put Starbucks to shame tonight."

"Okay every time I do these I intend to be completely honest. So the good part first the food is amazing. There 's shrimp and eggplant and garlic sauce is what I go for every time. However don 't go in your closing! The service is less than desirable. And although there were only about five tables we walked in at 8:03 p.m. the waitress stopped us at the door and said they were closed. I mentioned that we had checked the website and it said they were open till 8:30. She abruptly stopped me and said no that 's take out only! My sister asked what time they close she said 8:00 p.m. dine in 8:00 p.m. take out 8:30. I said we were a bit thrown off because that wasn 't specified on the website we were about to leave and the owner/manager came up and reluctantly said well that 's okay she said ok, only if you eat fast. I couldn 't believe that she just said that so sternly and apologetically and then just looked at us waiting for a response we quickly said oh thank you so much , however the rest of the meal was just as rushed as her greeting. As soon as we put something down she snatched it up off the table they poured water like they were late late for a very important date , like the rabbit in Alice in wonderland. They used their little sweeper to clean under our table bumping and hitting the table and chairs underneath us as we try to eat fast . Needless to say as soon as we signed for our tab and put the pen on the table they started snatching plates and forks off the table before we can even get out of our seats. Mind you there was a table of about six or seven Young teenagers hooting and hollering laughing it up having a great time and another table with a couple quietly eating their meal that was there before we arrived. They were not being rushed off."

"When we introduced ourselves as new customers, she was incredibly rude and abrupt. She told us to look at the menu and then call. I explained that it was really hot outside and we wanted to come in to order. Her response, in broken English, was simply "Florida is very hot." I let her know I was aware of that, having been born here myself. All we wanted was to place an order inside, but she slammed the door in our faces and locked it. After this experience, I checked the reviews online and it seems the rude woman mentioned frequently might be the owner. It makes me wonder if they really want to stay in business. I can't understand such rudeness and their willingness to turn away potential customers. My advice? Stay away!"

"I give this restaurant a 4/5 because the carne asada tacos never taste the same. A year or so ago I ordered these tacos and the meat was seasoned perfectly/there were no fatty pieces. Fast forward to the past month or two and the meat isn’t the same. The past 3-4 times I’ve ordered from here the meat isn’t seasoned at all and some of the meat wasn’t nearly as cooked/tacos filled with many fatty chunks. I’m someone who appreciates consistency when it comes to flavor and texture but that’s my own personal preference. I think this restaurant is delicious and I’m glad they’re open. "Fantastic! The restaurant got new management about two months ago. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The food is served promptly. I tried the BBQ Fried Rice, which was delicious, but I wish there was more BBQ pork in it. The Orange Chicken Whole Size was perfect for sharing - it had a generous portion of chicken, just the right amount of sauce that wasn't too sweet or sour. I really enjoyed it. Parking is convenient as there is a plaza with a market and other retailers to share parking with. It can get crowded during lunchtime, but you can always find a spot."
