"Our first time here since the restaurant moved from Setauket. We ate at the outside deck which was so nice. Music was piped in and was soft and easy to have a conversation with. The food was still amazing! It was my husband's birthday and I informed the waiter. He brought some ice cream and a huge sparkler! We had a great meal and they honored my Groupon! "Good food but it’s a disorganized place to order and pick up or make an in store order. Two options for the same store express and take out lead to two cashiers in the same store. They may ask for first name last name and phone number during the order. If you order in the store your receipt will have four numbers. But then comes pickup where bags appear with no way to connect to the orders. Sometimes after bags are there for a long while a staff may call out one of the pieces of information but with the din you may not hear. Often you get the wrong order. The food and marketing are great but to consume the food….that requires hope. Here is the idli dosa order that resulted in a biryani pick up! Yes that’s the situation"

"I recently ordered catering from Tamarind Greentree for an event and was truly impressed by the exceptional dining experience. "The veg dinner for two is a great deal, but make sure they give you everything that comes with it! Last night I ordered take out, only to come home and realize they hadn 't included the raita, and also forgot to include one of my favorite sauces! : : Ironic, too, as the cashier exclaimed that I had ordered a lot of food! :P The *best* deal is to dine in, because then tea is included, as well as those papadum chips which are not included when you order take out. It is a lot of food, but it makes for great leftovers!!"

"I personally love this place. I know nothing of Indian culture or cuisine more than the average person does. They used to have a buffet, and then shut it down during the COVID-19 pandemicdue to obvious sanitary precautions and for the safety of all their customers! Every time I?ve come to dine here, I?m either theonly one there or there are one or two other dining parties, which again, I?m not a bit fan of experiencing that, but thatdoesn?t change the truth of how good the food is! The portions are relatively small. I can handle a lot of spice when I ask forspicy food, they still have never crafted that much of a spicy dish for me, I hope one day they do, but that?s a personalpreference! I also absolutely appreciate the kind service the staff provide. "We recently found out about this restaurant and since then we never miss a chance to eat there. We do not live in the Seattle area but frequently visit Seattle. We time our trips so that we get to Issaquah when the restaurant is open and eat lunch there on our way to and from Seattle. And in addition, we also order food to go. The food is excellent, unbelievably tasty and reminds us so much of Kerala. Service is awesome and the staff are very friendly. Thank you Maurya for the super delicious food."

"I ordered take out on Friday 07/12/24 for total 4 items. 1) chicken biryani medium spicy) 2) chicken Sheeekh kabab 3) garlic and butter naan 4) chicken curry medium spicy) . Chicken sheekh kabab: The worst state I had ever. Just powdery , dried and felt like heated up old left overs and complete disaster. I still didn’t even touch it. Pic attached. Chicken Curry: They made it so spicy even after adding 4 potatoes and one tomato, 3 tablespoons ghee and one quarter butter it still very hot and spicy. I am from south India and I eat medium spicy food but it is no close to medium and made with red hot chilli and my family didn’t even touch it who are born here. Chicken Biryani: The same with chicken biryani it didn’t taste like anything and the chicken is so hard and could be from old leftovers. I mixed one part of biryani with 2 parts of rice and some ghee and butter it still spicy. I don’t understand the their concept of medium spicy. Naan: I ordered 3 naan 2 garlic naan and 1 butter naan. I added pics. A little bit burnt and made in tandoori oven actually nice but they made it on pan and burned to death. Pictures added. I drive weekends to downtown Green tree restaurant to get good quality of food. This food disappointed me and my family. I always give tip even for takeout orders atleast 10%. It used to provide nice quality before but not anymore. And the surroundings of the restaurant are also not very clean .They should adhere to some kind of cleanliness . I always wanted restaurants like this to stay who had good history and should maintain the consistency in their food and should take the job and customer seriously."

"Went for an impromptu early dinner. What a treat. Had beef samosas and a basket of assorted Indian breads as appetizers. Delicious. Continued with Fish Vindaloo Chicken Chilli Masala (requested both at medium spicy levels). Both dishes were excellent in my opinion, and I'm comparing to similar meals I have had in India. The accompanying rice was good, though small bowl frankly for two people. Continued with pistachio ice cream and a very, very, delicious rice pudding, which was not only refreshing but had a most subtle essence of cardamom. We will return soon and have recommended it to friends already."

"The food was good as was the service. They definitely need to get another bartendar. The lady that came over was very unprofessional. She could not make a martini, and when I tried to tell her, she didn't listen. My grandson ordered an old-fashion. She didn't know how to make that either. Her hair was very long and she kept twitching it about. Not a good idea where food is being served. She made us a moscow mule, and rather than embarassing her, we ordered it. Not a good experience."

"I recently dined at a large Indian restaurant located at the intersection of RT 16 and RT 28 in Medford. Upon entering, I noticed a fixed-price lunch buffet available at a very reasonable price, and based on the meal I had, I’m eager to try it. I started with a mango lassi, which was creamy, refreshing, and better than what I’ve had at other places. For my main course, I enjoyed a fantastic biryani rice dish that included chicken, shrimp, and mutton. The bread basket featured a variety of naans that were delightful—hot and freshly baked. My wife ordered chicken tikka masala, which was lovely, and our chicken tikka appetizer arrived sizzling on a hot plate adorned with onions; it was excellent as well. To start with the highlight, this is perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know that offers complimentary chai (Indian tea with milk), and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered chole bhatura (fried Indian bread served with chickpeas), and it was excellent. We also tried pav bhaji (bread served with a spicy Indian vegetable curry), which was decent. "The place was surprisingly quiet, which should have been a red flag considering the massive festival happening right outside the door. The situation inside was chaotic; we had to remind the staff multiple times to bring our drinks. The food was disappointing, especially given its low quality—it felt quite cheap. When the servers took away our plates, they attempted to wipe down the table while we were still sitting there, leaving a half-cleaned sauce on the surface. We then waited far too long for the bill, despite being the only other customers in the restaurant, apart from what seemed to be the owners."
