"Well, where to begin. We went last night for mine and my sisters' birthdays. The service was horrible we sat with empty drinks for a while every time. We were eating chips and salsa waiting on our food and there were 2 small white curly hairs in 2 separate bowls of salsa. The waiter proceeds to tell us they are cilantro stems and its fine. So, we were done with the salsa but still kind of looking forward to our food. I got my San Loius Fundido with extra cheese. My plate did not have extra cheese it looked just like my nephews who got the same thing without extra cheese. The waiter did bring it on the said but after about 5 bites I then pulled a very long black hair out of my plate. Needless to say I was most definitely done eating after that! They got my nieces plate wrong. She ordered a burrito that came with smothered cheese and there wasn't a drop of cheese on her plate when she asked they said oh no that doesn't come with cheese. The menu clearly states that it does. Then we get to dessert they come over with the sombreros and start singing Happy Birthday, which was very nice until the waiter took it upon himself to put whip cream on my nose, cheek and forehead. Who does that. You don't just put food on people's faces especially a stranger. Very weird to me. They did take my meal off the bill but I did not get to eat. I most definitely didn't want anything else from there. This was a horrible experience, and we will NEVER go back. You can go judge for yourself though!!! If you are brave enough."

"One star is being generous for the meal I hardly ate. For starters the chips and salsa tasted like they picked them up from your local Walmart, fresh out of the bag and jar. Their house margarita was overly topped with sweet and sour mix and salt. Couldn't bare to drink it. The menus need to be redo badly. Half couldn't be read as it was worn off. When the food finally arrived my food was lacking every bit of flavor and my husband's food was wrong and sent back twice. We chose to just leave rather than attempting to eat anything. The waitress was kind and understanding but didn't make up for the horrible food"

"I had the vegan burrito which was great. With that being said if they would cut the salt in half it would be perfect. I do like to eat salty but this was too much even for me. I’ll make sure to tell them next time because the food here is delicious edit 09/2020 I reduced my rating from 4 to 3 stars. The reason is that there is no quality control for the food. Last week the food was delicious. I ordered the tamales and the burrito bowl. This week I got the same thing but the burrito bowl was uneditable due to overwhelming salt. They still have the same issue one year later apparently and I forgot to request for low salt. The tamales were all smushi and not well formed like last time. I might give them another chance but I won’t become regular."

"So I'm not from this side of the city, but we were just made with our photo shoot for our wedding and we were starving. So we stopped in this restaurant and we both had the tacos de birria which were amazing!!! "The restaurant was clean and our waitress was quick and efficient. I ordered birria tacos while my husband opted for a burrito, his first time trying it. The burrito was excellent and full of flavor. However, I cannot recommend the birria tacos as they lacked any taste and were quite awful. Despite this, I still ate them. Unfortunately, they fell apart easily and were overall disgusting. Even the consume' and green sauce did not help improve the flavor. While I usually enjoy Cancun food, I will definitely not be ordering the birria tacos again."

"Its located in the basement of the building so the ceiling is very low. Smells a bit funky. The smell hit me as soon as I stepped in. There were many small flys (gnats) flying above our food. A bug landed into the rice and made itself at home on the plate. We immediately left after this. Food was disgusting I only ate the chorizo quesadilla that was served with no cheese (never had a quesadilla with no cheese in it). And it was the size of a taco. But it was the only thing that looked edible on my plate. The beans looked unappetizing. My girlfriend said the beans tasted sour to her. The men’s bathroom looked like a gas station rest stop. Random pipes were uncovered in the corner of the bathroom. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants this is by far the worst. Very confused by some of the positive ratings. I do feel like this establishment needs to be inspected by the health department."

"I hope this prevents someone else from spending $60 on freezer food. My husband’s feet are more moisturized than these baby back ribs were. And he has a prescription cream for cracking heels. These ribs were so tough and dry that I literally had to cut them apart with a knife. Baby back ribs are finger food.It’s cute. Reviews were mostly right about the atmosphere being great. The oddly quiet music awkwardly coerced us into whispering our entire dinner conversation.Our waiter was kind. But he hovered while we browsed the menu. We had two different waiters coming to our table the whole dinner, repeating questions.They did replace the mozzarella sticks with hot ones, but they were SO expensive and only came with four small sticks that were still cold in the middle. For a $10 appetizer? I’d rather go to Sonic. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp leading inside"

"Went there to eat, they only serve breakfast in the morning, friendly customer service. They have a very cute patio in the back, there is also setting in the front along the side. "eating is good. I ordered the tostada Siberia and enjoyed it. someone in our party had the bark fajita afteros, they were also good and the cheese chasadilla was also good. our party of 3 spent about 50 dlls including drinks and drinking. the only disappointment was to find out that they don't have live music on Saturday, live music is only on Friday. every Saturday they have a drag queen comedy show that starts at 11. I wasn't for the show."

"I noticed that many of the customers and servers greeted each other by name, which showed us that there were a number of regulars—at least four or five families. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was outstanding, and the menu provided a wide variety of choices. Even with current inflation rates, the prices were reasonable. What I appreciated most was that this is a family-run small business that actively supports its community. They close around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. and are closed on Mondays. Thank you, Hector's, for a wonderful dining experience! We'll definitely be back!"

"I recently returned to this restaurant and the food remains outstanding. Both salsas are exceptional. The service was a little slow, but it was a busy day. I'm really glad to see this place thriving since it's nearby. The prices are a bit high for us, so we need to be careful about how often we dine here. "Every visit has been a delight, and the portion sizes are incredibly generous for the price! The ducks I've ordered have been large enough that I always have leftovers. And I’m not just talking about any leftovers; these reheat beautifully and taste just as amazing as when they were freshly made, which is quite impressive. The delivery is extremely quick, and the delivery staff we've encountered have been very friendly! There was one occasion when we accidentally took someone else's order, but the restaurant handled it so calmly and provided excellent customer service, quickly correcting the mistake and sending us our correct items for free.
