"My family and I visited for lunch a few weeks ago and every dish ordered was very very good! I would also add that the food is appropriately priced for the quality. We each ordered different items from the lunch menu and a few appetizers and an item from the kid's menu. Service was delightful as well as the atmosphere. If I lived closer, I would attend more frequently. If you're looking for a more upscale, tasty dining experience, I would 10/10 recommend Nolan's."

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"I experienced the diner side last week, and had a great breakfast. Was looking for a different place to dine with the family. The ambiance is inviting and warm. Beautiful space and expansive bar. Was greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was pleasant. She knew the menu well and answered our questions. I ordered the the fish fry and rice pilaf. My husband had the burger topped with mac and cheese. Our daughter had the rigatoni bolognese. My fish fry was pretty good. Hot and crispy. Could have used a little more flavor but was enjoyable. The rice pilaf was horrible. Tastes rancid. Zero flavor. The bolegnese was okay. The sauce tasted overcooked. No robust flavor to it My husband thoroughly enjoyed his hamburger. Well cooked with good flavor. The mac cheese was excellent, recommended by the waitress. She mentioned it was made in house. I’d try visiting again. It has potential, perhaps I didn’t order the right thing."

"We waited such a long time for drinks, and had to ask 3 times for bread before we got any. We had to flag down a server to refill our drinks (and we waited awhile before doing that). I’m not sure why it wasn’t even that busy. The food was outstanding but for a $300 meal, I honestly don’t think we’ll come back again. Our server was very friendly though, just really slow slow slow service."

"I've been a regular at this place for years, and they always exceed my expectations. Their subs, salads, and baked goods are fantastic. Recently, we hosted a small dinner party for 12, and we ordered chicken french, stuffed escarole, eggplant parm, and Asiago roasted potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection! Our guests couldn't stop praising the food, and everyone left with full stomachs and some leftovers. You truly can't go wrong with this charming family-owned authentic Italian deli."

"Fruit and Salad Co. was my choice for meeting for dinner with my sister in law who works at Strong Memorial Hospital and for us coming up from Seneca Falls. It took us about 46 minutes on the threat to 490 and getting off at Bushnell Basin it is very convenient to get to. We met on a Monday evening at 5:30 and were seated right away at a comfy table. Our server Conner was neat and courteous and spot on throughout the meal. There is a small wine and beer list if you want to imbibe, many choices of soft drinks or carafe of fresh ice water placed on the table to share, along with a generous basket of fresh bread and butter. The menu was well beyond just salads and fruit including potroast, pastas and so much more. We chose the following salads: Monteray which had chicken, bacon, tomato, feta cheese, and avocado on a bed of greens with vinaigrette dressing. I chose to add egg to mine. Chris had the Asian salad featuring chicken and oranges, bean sprouts and other Asian veggies with delivered almonds on greens with ginger dressing. Michelle chose the spinach salad which she opted no mushrooms or tomatoes on, but enjoyed with fresh baby spinach, red onions, oranges and egg and she had the dressing on the side. We all proclaimed them delicious! Very refreshing meal and good service."

"So, we were traveling through Rochester and got on Open Table. We found this place and picked it because of their early bird. The early bird was until 6:00 and had a great deal of problem just finding this place but still got there by 5:54. Well the place was nearly empty but by the time they got our table ready it was6:04 and we were too late to get the early bird. I mentioned our plight but to no avail. apparently it was a ‘computer problem’. Really. So we ordered off thee menu and had mediocre bar food."

"I had to write a review as I LOVE the constant exceptional service we receive from Tanya! it makes a difference when someone smiles and is so customer service oriented. She's terrific as is the menu and its variety. Today I had the Chicken Bacon wrap YUMMY to big to eat all at one meal so I will enjoy it for lunch today. The iceberg wedge is one of our favorites we LOVE beside our go to Pizza's. We eat out several times a month and the reason we keep returning to Six 50 is the 10 star treatment we receive from Tanya! Truly a gem!!!! So if you haven't eaten here before I recommend stopping in. Friday's are busy but service is still outstanding. Thank you Tanya for the exceptional service."

I know some people get turned off by the place because they feel like it's a biker Hangout I know some of the security staff there and you're totally safe I've never seen a fight there actually I am sure it's happened because I don't spend everyday there. "My family had a reunion at the mansion in August. We occupied most of the mansion and the Inn. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and very clean. Upon arrival in the afternoon, the woman who checked us in was not welcoming. She would not let us use the bathroom after a long trip. We arrived between 2pm and 3 pm. She stated that the bathrooms had “been cleaned for tomorrow.” She would not allow my family of about 30-50 ppl gather inside in a room or even outside in the Adirondack chairs. We had to stand in the sun in the parking lot and chat. Some people traveled from Florida, Indiana and others made a long trip from within NYS. Some elderly members use walking devices and had to stand on the gravel while we gathered for the first time in many years. The same woman told family members that the items that were left in the guest room were thrown out. The manager very kindly said he would go get the items that were left behind. Not sure why she would say they were thrown away. This employee left a sour impression gor all of us. The morning receptionist and manager were very kind. Noteworthy details: See above"

"I grew up in an area where there are a variety of restaurants. I expect a certain taste and experience, whether that is fair or not. I understand most Spanish BUT can't speak a lick which has led to some interesting times in my life..lol. But back to the food. I normally order the pork chops special or steak with onions. For my sides plantains black or red beans with rice. Though I prefer the black. They also make delicious juices on the spot. There is always a good portion of food served. Porkchop special comes with 4 chops. Believe it or not they have a sit down area in the back. I can't speak to prices. To me good food costs what it costs AND this IS good. But it seems more than reasonable to me. They also have food already cooked and waiting if you do not want to wait. Friendly people and move quickly with a friendly atmosphere. Spanish speaking but there are English speakers there and definitely at the cashier spot."

"Last night, I visited Grandpa Sam's with a group of eight people. I was surprised to find out that I had to pay extra for a mozzarella topping on my eggplant dish, as this has always been included at other restaurants I've been to. The dish was supposed to come with pasta according to the online menu, but mine only came with a side of asparagus which I changed to escarole for an additional charge of $3. Despite enjoying the meal initially, my experience was ruined when I found a hair under my escarole. Although the restaurant offered to replace the dish, I had lost my appetite by that point. I was told that I wouldn't be charged for my meal, but when the bill arrived, the charge was still there. Despite feeling disappointed with my experience, the rest of my party enjoyed their meals. However, I believe the restaurant should have ensured that we were not charged for my subpar meal. Overall, I am hesitant to return to Grandpa Sam's in the future. "Tonight my husband and I went in for a fish fry. Well, one fried and one broiled. $17 for the smallest portion of food I have ever seen in my life! Plus an up charge for replacing the fries to a veggie! I was appalled when we got the bill. Also- in no way shape or form did our server tell us there was an up charge for replacing fries to a veggie. Not to mention the asparagus had the texture of tree bark. We won’t be back."

"Our favorite place. The atmosphere and decor evolves a European continental café and is spacious and bright. You have the choice of tables or stands. It's pretty and you can have a normal conversation. Service was friendly, prompt and helpful. My wife Avril and I like to come for lunch, as there are no loud children or loud music. The lunches were perfectly prepared. The vegetables were crisp and not boiled over, and the sesame crumbled scallops were boiled properly without getting hard. The Illy coffee is very good. Bread was fresh and delicious. Avril enjoyed the Turkish melt sandwich. We had no desserts, but the presentation bag by Desserts looks delicious with a lot of choice. We often want to come back."

"Make sure to dine in for dinner! While her pizza isn’t quite to my liking (I prefer traditional crust), I found a great alternative to Wegman's $6 meal. It’s a bit pricier, but you definitely get more food for your money. We tried Nick's homemade chicken dinner, which is meant to be shared and comes with generous portions of parmesan, plenty of pasta, a simple iceberg salad with dressing on the side, and warm, fresh garlic bread. The sauce served with all her dinners is delicious, featuring ample meat and a well-seasoned base. We're looking forward to trying her other homemade dinners soon. It’s refreshing to have meals cooked to order, rather than pre-prepared, especially on a busy evening."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"Mangia Mangia is recently under new management. The transition has been seamless, and all good. The servers are excellent, the atmosphere upbeat. The food is quickly at the table, hot and delicious. We also used Mangia Mangia to cater our event at home. They delivered the trays exactly on time and piping hot. Everything was excellent. Chelsea accommodated our vegetarian request, as well. This is our go-to Friday night place."
