"We found this old school Italian steakhouse near Massapequa, with Frank Sinatra playing in the background. My wife and I were seated at a table in the back by our friendly waiter, Pepe. We started with a house cab and a peach old fashioned, followed by clams and oysters on the half shell and a pear salad. The seafood was fresh and briny, and the pear salad was delicious with bacon mixed in.
For our main course, we decided to share the bone-in filet with black truffle mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were smooth and tasty. Instead of a dessert menu, the desserts were presented on a tray. We chose the crème brûlée, which was a satisfying end to our meal.
Pepe provided excellent service throughout our dinner, and we left feeling full and satisfied. We will definitely be returning to this place in the future."
