"I know inflation is tough, but we can no longer come here for a nice dinner out with our three teenage children. We like eating somewhere once a week with the family but this is no longer the nice Italian neighborhood restaurant for the family. Left with a $500 bill."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"We ate here with our kids and had a nice meal. Children had a buffet for them that worked out great and. Ore high-end restaurants should obey this call. $ 15 apiece, but lots of options kids love, plus desserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a little over the top and tasteless. My wife had the fillet that was served over a zucchini and pumpkin tomato vegetable which really didn't go very well with it. Read reviews and told page of Russell sprouts got roasted but they arrived steamed and tasteless again. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. We ate at the Pacific Grille the night before and the food was much tastier."

"We haven’t been here in at least 15 years. Figured we were due. Very disappointed. We didn’t want the busy weekend fair with the singing. Just a quiet dinner. The inside decor looked about the same, dated, and in need of some repairs/touch-ups, but we weren’t concerned about that. Service was good/average. No issues there. But the foodis where it was a disappointment. We ordered two entrees, the house Braciole, and chicken Vesuvio. We had two different soups with our meals which were just ‘ok’ compared to other places in the area. The garlic dinner rolls were good too. The chicken Vesuvio was a decent portion (thigh, breast, leg, and wing) along with a few potato wedges, but the flavor was very disappointing, and I consider myself a Vesuvio fanatic. I have had much better at less ‘authentic’ locations. The braciole was the worst of all. While the portion was good, the rolled up meat was extremely questionable?? Coming from an Italian household and knowing different regions use various fillings/pastes between the steak, I was really disappointed. First off the steak?? I felt the “steak” used was almost a chicken breast?? Or it was a minced steak patty?? We were literally afraid to ask our server what mystery meat was used!! The filling had pine nuts and raisins, which was a first for us. Again, we understand different regions use various fillings, but this combo and meat used was not what we were used to or expected. I mean I was expecting a thinly pounded skirt steak, smothered with garlic, cheese, and breadcrumbs, and just rolled up and thrown into some sauce not at all what we received. Sorry Tony, but your establishment WAS a hit years ago for us, but we will not be coming back."

"pros: this diner was a very well managed diner. it has been decades and the staff here is very nice. the owner works hard with their employees in the opposite to other owners who sit at home and let the business run itself. eating was good, the menu had a lot to it, it came fast and also cons: they did not work well to wipe some tables. they also block their entrance with a tent and the people must go and on the same side that could cause a problem squeezing, especially from the autobahn overall: excellent diner to come, I put it very hard. make sure that your table is deleted and will continue with preview when entering parking"

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"Haven't been here since I was a kid, but was pleasantly surprised that they are still around after the pandemic. They seem to have renovated recently and it looks really nice inside! On a Friday night it was hopping and felt a bit crowded. But otherwise everything was great! The service we had was excellent!! Food was really good as well, what you would expect for a typical Italian restaurant in NJ though. Glad that they still had the fruit sorbet on the dessert menu!"

"I couldn't have chosen a better last stop for my sister-in-law's Bachelorette Party! Our server was so honest and accommodating, they kept the garlic bread coming and made sure we always had whatever we needed. We were also surprised with limoncello shots upon our departure which is my absolute favorite! The food was also just insanely delicious, highly recommend the meat best ravioli around! I will absolutely go back on another trip to try more of the menu."

"My girlfriend and I stopped for an early dinner a couple months ago and were genuinely surprised how good the food was as well as how much fun Jena our waitress was. We've been back a couple more times since and were not disappointed by our meals. The food is always excellent, the price great, the service great regardless how busy the restaurant gets, serving size is amazing and Jena always remembers us!!! We will always request her to be our waitress every time we return which we will. "La Piazza has been around for quite some time and is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious and each entree is accompanied by a salad. The service is good, Marie is tops. The bread is fresh and delicious. Entrees are generous and there are often specials. This is also one of the only places in the area with outdoor dining that is not sitting on the street but in a little garden area. Don't be turned away by the strip mall location, the place is great. It is not fancy, but it is more than just Pizza too. Oh and their pizza is fabulous as well. BYOB or if you forget Florham Park Liquors is a few door down."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"We got a Valentine's Day lunch for the office and the food was outstanding!!! Everyone loved it. Food came on time, was hot and delicious. Delivery man very friendly and smiled the whole time. Owner extremely professional and accommodating. WOW!! Great place for catering!! Our go to place for office celebrations Never disappointed. Parking can be somewhat problematic depending on the time of day as there are several popular dine in restaurants in the mall as well as other businesses, so parking in front does fill up fast. "I came to this place 8:30pm on Saturday night on a date . Once we were seated and had just received our food the waiter comes and asks us if we are ready to pack up our food that we just received....We kindly declined and said we are still working on our food. And through out me and my dates conversations this waiter continued to repeatedly come back to our table interrupting our conversation to ask us if we needed anything else . This was my first time coming here and it will be my last . I'm not sure whether the waiter was just in a rush or being racist as it was mainly other Caucasian people eating that were not constantly harassed while eating . I won't mention the waiters name here but you guys have to do better , when going out to eat or having a drink nobody wants to feel rushed . We eventually gave in when she came back asking if we wanted the check because at that point we were ready to go anyways . O out of 10 experience for me ."

"I must start by addressing the negative reviews. Yes there are opinions, but as a person who has been all over for great food from Nj to Texas and inbetween. From Indian to Italian and inbetween, Angeloni 's is absolutely 5 star. If you truly know pizza and are fimiliar with old school bar pizza and not your standard loaded with cheese floppy pizza then you will know Angeloni 's pizza is aces. Their garlic knots that they give you are not doughy but just right. Meatballs excellent. I haven 't had other food yet but will definitely drive the 45 min from where I live to give them my business. Our waiter Ernie was just the best. Always making sure everything was great. The owner or one of them came out to meet a man who drove two hours to thank him and then shook our hands and asked how everything was. Thats caring. Might they have an off night? Maybe but Ive travelled up there twice to be totally satisfied and will most definitely be back with the rest of my family to enjoy their food the ambiance and the caring people who work there. "Great food, great price! The two for $20 makes you full and you end up with your desert home. The people behind the counter are always friendly and the waiting staff is always great. Try the Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza. delicious! Margarita Pizza is great. The Chicken Francase is the best. We just went to another facility in the area before Luigi's. This place definitely gave the other institution (about 40 years) a run for their money. Try it. They won't be disappointed."
