"This is one of my favorite restaurants in Danbury and I’ve lived here for most of my life, but I’ll be honest in saying this.. I frequent this restaurant often, but if you place a dinner order at 7:33 pm which (let’s be honest) is not late for the average American family to eat dinner in 2023, you might be met with a poor attitude. I understand that the establishment make the final call on when the restaurant closes, that’s all well and good…but frankly it does close particularly early for this area, and to get irritated at the customers placing an order the kitchen is quite capable of accommodating before the time when IN FACT the kitchen is due to close is just not cool. I’ve worked in restaurants myself for the better part of a decade so I do know from experience how it is to want to leave the half our before closing, but this place has no bar, and by anyone’s standards does not close late, so to complain within earshot of patrons at 7:35 pm (by the time the order hit the printer in the kitchen) is pretty absurd in my opinion. Food is excellent, but train your staff in customer service. It’s happened more than once. More than twice, even."
