"I ordered for the first time from this place as I was craving Chinese food. First I called and my first question was, do you take credit card . The lady that answered said yes. After giving my order she said cash only (head scratcher) she then hung up after I corrected her as she told me they take credit card. I proceeded to order online so I could pay with credit card. Food arrived in good time no problem there. I ordered lobster lo mein. I received lo mein with some mysterious meat which I though was shrimp but smelled weird, which cost, 3$ more because it’s suppose to be lobster. Not lobster, 100% see enclosed photo. The egg rolls , which generally are vegetable egg rolls had a mysterious meat like red substance/texture."

"I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but this app only allows up to 4 stars as it only offers vegetarian options and is not a fully vegetarian restaurant. Although I would prefer a fully vegan restaurant, I am thankful for the choices available. I always order the Veggie Combo roll (with asparagus, avocado, cucumber, tofu, and mango) and the Mango and Avocado roll almost every week! They are delicious and surpass any vegan sushi I have tried, including the local all vegan sushi spot, and are also a better value. I highly recommend trying these rolls, you will not be disappointed!"

"I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant! The food was outstanding—definitely a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Hibachi Steak and Chicken; they were both delicious. The service was equally impressive, earning another 5 stars. As for parking, there’s plenty of space available, and the free parking lot makes it easy to find a spot. Overall, a fantastic place for dinner!"

"Facebook, you asked for my thoughts on Taisho Bistro, and I’m more than happy to share! Taisho is not just my favorite Japanese restaurant in Western New York; it’s my favorite restaurant in the entire city. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the menu features such a wide array of options that you could dine here a hundred times and still try something new every visit. Be sure to sample the Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Katsudon, and Omu Rice—there's no other Japanese restaurant in town that can compete with what they offer. As an Izakaya (bar-grill), you can expect a great selection of drinks, and Taisho certainly delivers on that front. They have an extensive choice of beers, sake, cocktails, spirits, and more, ensuring there’s something for everyone. What truly brings me back, though, is the exceptional service. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home and never rushes you. See you again soon, Taisho!"

"Make sure you are not in a hurry, and to bring your own soy sauce dish when you decide to visit Hana. We though to give this place a try as our favorite taco place across the street had a line of people waiting out the door when we got there. No so at Hana. When we entered the restaurant at the peak of the lunch rush hour there was only one other table occupied. Maye this should have been a hint already. We were seated and given menus when our waitress disappeared without taking drink orders. What seemed like over 10 minutes went by before she came back and ook our drink and lunch order. The drinks arrived after another rather long wait, but so signs of any food. So more waiting did, and some more that and finally, after 30 or so minutes some sushi started up be coming from the sushi bar. With the first order being served we asked for chop sticks and soy sauce dishes as neither were available at our table. Getting the chop sticks took another few minutes but the soy sauce dishes never came. We asked again and were given two dishes to share for our table of 8. At this point all of us were slightly frustrated when I got up, went to the sushi bar and got 6 more so all of us could finally start eating almost one hour after being seated. The sushi itself was ok, the fish seemed to be fresh but the rice was definitely on the dry side. We quickly finished eating as we were a little under a time crunch. Further delays while paying put us at 90 minute from entry to exit. On the way to the nearby parking garage we all agreed that we would not come back to this restaurant, regardless of how long a wait there is across the street or at any one of the dozens of other restaurants in the proximity."

"This is a lovely sushi restaurant situated in a charming area. The miso soup is outstanding; I've been to many places where it's often overly salty, but this one strikes the perfect balance. The sushi is enjoyable, although I found the ramen to be a bit lacking in flavor. The tempura is quite delicious, too. While the floor felt a bit sticky, the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. The staff were courteous, and the prices are fair. Portion sizes are just right."

"This is no longer the best sushi place in the city as it used to be. We ordered 3 rolls with salmon and 1 avocado roll to go. The was with Barry bad aftertaste and not skinned properly on the top of the rolls, in another there was a fish bone . The avacado was not ripe and tasted like bark of tree. I don’t understand how this whole order ruined like that? Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1"

"This hidden gem has become a must-visit for me whenever I return to Scranton. Post-pandemic, I have to say it has somehow improved even more. The menu still boasts an impressive variety, but I usually opt for a bento box for lunch. On my latest visit, I enjoyed the hibachi vegetables, edamame, and a spicy crab roll, along with the salad, rice, and miso soup that come with each box—such a great value! Everything was prepared with care, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Most importantly, all the dishes were delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely committed to excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place for top-notch Japanese cuisine. Whether you’re craving hibachi, teriyaki, or sushi, this restaurant has it all."

"I was a huge regular here years ago and stopped going once ownership changed about 5 years ago. I stopped going because the owner micromanaged, made cheap swaps, and all the great staff quit. A coworker told me Kyoto got a new sushi chef and the food is way better now. I went today and it 's the same chef from 5 years ago, place looks even more run down, kept hearing the microwave when they were making my torched roll and our rolls were the only ones being made, service ignored us, the table/chairs/floors were sticky, our fried rice was pretty brutal and no egg in it?, the online menu on their website and in store menu are way off on ingredients and pricing, employee stuff scattered around sushi area, and overall everything just tasted worse than several years ago. I know this place is good for hibachi but nothing more than that. If you want good sushi in Bellingham Bluefin- always!"

"I had the pleasure of dining in for dinner, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The price per person ranged from $20 to $30, which I found to be very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect 5/5 rating. I particularly enjoyed the Golden California Roll, along with the sushi and the Rainbow Roll – all were delicious and beautifully presented. The service also deserves a solid 5/5. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. As for the atmosphere, it was just as impressive, also receiving a 5/5. The ambiance was inviting and pleasant, enhancing our overall dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re a fan of sushi and other rolls!"
"I had to wait for my food to arrive because I was concerned about food contamination, and I feel it's important to mention this. They called to charge me an extra dollar for additional sides of ginger dressing after I had already placed an order totaling over $80.00. The call lasted five minutes because I couldn't find my debit card. If the food is truly exceptional, I might reconsider, but being nickeled and dimed when I'm already tipping over 20% is a definite no for me from now on."

"This restaurant offers Asian fusion cuisine, but I had hoped it would be reminiscent of a place we frequent back home in South Bend, and unfortunately, it wasn't. The food was quite disappointing; the portions were small and the flavors were lacking. While the service was friendly and they offered bottled water, that was the only positive aspect of our visit. The drunken noodles and hibachi steak were below average, and the sushi was sliced so thin that the filling fell out of every piece I tried to pick up. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and would not recommend this place."

"Yesterday was the first and last time I will ever step foot in this restaurant. Walked in at 2:56 order drinks and appetizers which came out fast but once sushi rolls were ordered it went down hill. We waited and waited for the food to show only to be told it’s almost ready at 3:44. Right after this two tables that came in well after us was brought their food which was sushi rolls. I finally had enough and looked at our server and said we’d like to cancel the sushi and pay so we could leave. We walked out at 3:55 without an apology or any manager speaking to us. This place is a complete joke! There is no way sushi rolls take over an hour to make!"

"The vegetable sushi platter was delicious! The sweet radish in the remix roll made it really good. I personally did not like the sweet radish as a vegetable roll (just the sweet radish on a nugget of white sushi rice wrapped in seaweed) and thought it was too sweet and overpowering on its own. The other vegetable rolls (one had avocado and the other had cucumber) were very good, especially dipped in some soy sauce. There was no meat/fish in the vegetable sushi platter and therefore it is a vegetarian option. I would eat here again. The side salad and side soup that come with the vegetable sushi platter were also good, the salad was better than the soup in my opinion. My family and I ordered quite a lot of food from here through delivery and it all came packaged so nicely in a reused cardboard box...from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!! I love to see small sustainable acts such as that even though it is so small. I applaud the thought to even do that and that definitely makes me want to support this business more If you are a vegetarian, you can still enjoy their food with the vegetable sushi platter and even if you are not a veg or vegan, if you try it out you might really like this simple yet super tasty platter!"

"Absolutely amazing sushi and service. I got three rolls that had nice hearty pieces. The sashimi is so affordable, has more than a dozen slices, and tastes clean. I have no idea how this place isn't more crowded because it's a gem. Even the decorations on each plate are so well-executed.For $80 I got three specialty sushi rolls and an 18pc sashimi dinner, and I was stuffed. I highly recommend the Golden Salmon roll that had seared salmon. It has a lovely smokey flavor and just enough eel sauce. The Godzilla roll was a bit chewy for me but had great flavor. The Iso-Maki roll was fresh with an avocado interior but definitely needs to be dipped in the ponzu they provide.Service was polite and timely. The interior felt very homey and inviting with all the bright colors and soft, pleasant Japanese music. They also give you an entire can of soda instead of giving you a watered down glass like other places! I'm definitely coming back here."
