"This used to be an easy 5 star rating; I've been a loyal and frequent customer of New China House for about 15 years! They've consistently been my favorite restaurant in this entire area, and the only local Chinese restaurant I patronized that's how much I loved the food I used to get. I absolutely LOVED their Monk's menu (particularly the Monk's Beef (seitan) with Broccoli, which I nearly always ordered), and the Crispy Eggplant! The Vegetable Chow Mai Fun was tasty, too. I also always included the Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Dumplings (fried) with my orders. Because I'd been ordering the Monk's Beef with Broccoli for so many years, I didn't even know about the Crispy Eggplant until about a year ago... when I promptly fell in love with it, and ordered it repeatedly thereafter (alongside the Monk's). I cannot BEGIN to convey my disappointment when they suddenly stopped offering the Crispy Eggplant. However, I assumed they still had my old favorites... but no! The ENTIRE Monk's category has been removed from the menu! AND even the Vegetable Dumplings have disappeared, too! Alllllll the dishes the only dishes I loved are gone! New China House, say it ain't so! Please bring them back!"

"The food is okay, some things are very good and some things like the fried rice today was not good, but the tuna sandwich was great. But the review here is about my delivery!!!!! I asked the delivery man to leave the food on the doorknob in delivery instructions as I do when I order, always! I have a baby and I may be not dressed or what not, I never tip before hand, I tip and amount I tip will always have to do with the service I receive. I go back to grab hub and add appropriate tip as I did today as well. The man kept knocking over and over again! He did not leave! Woke up my baby, did not follow instructions to leave on doorknob. The tip I leave goes from $1-$20 depends on service of delivery. He did not only wake up my baby, but didn’t leave for so long that by the time he finally left, the food was Luke warm! Not only that! The restaurant called me and harassed me about tipping! clearly tip was not deserved, he told me customers are supposed to leave beforehand, that’s not smart at all, how can I tip before not knowing the service I will receive? Then he tells me if I didn’t tip before I have to tip with cash?! Outrageous! I always go to DoorDash and add tip after, well clearly he deserved zero, I still left $1 and that’s only to show these people that you clearly can easily leave the tip after, like I would have if they followed instructions and didn’t call harassing me, absolutely disgusting, they told me I didn’t open the door, because I didn’t want to tip, nasty! I always tip! Never cash and never beforehand."

"Update-12/9/23: Second time ordering. The wontons in the soup had almost no filling. But the pork with string beans was SO good! The shrimp lo mein was alright. The mapo tofu didn’t have much flavor. I liked the chicken chow mein. First review- They forgot our egg roll but other than that it was good. Portions are good for most things. We got the beef and broccoli, basil chicken and shrimp, house chow mein, pork lo mein, plain fried rice, wonton soup, hot and sour soup. Everything was good. The lomein was a little dry but I liked the pork that was in it. The fried rice is super plain, no egg or veg. I wish they had meifun (thin rice noodles) like other places. The wontons in the soup barely had any filling. But this will probably be where I order from in the future. They need to fix their Grubhub wing options. It only lets you choose orange or tso when they have other options on their site."

"I visited this restaurant today and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The rice was undercooked, which was a letdown. The woman who took our order didn't mention that adding noodles to our hibachi meal would cost an extra $7; it felt like we were pushed into adding them. There were three adults and two babies in our party, and she informed us that an 18% gratuity would be added because we were a party of five. I wasn’t aware that restaurants charge for babies as well. In the end, we had three hibachi dinners and our bill came to $180."

"I really enjoy the food here, and they offer to place the order for you. I appreciate that they don’t use MSG! As usual, I tried something new from their healthy menu, opting for a different sauce this time. The chicken sautéed in olive oil with spicy garlic sauce (which I requested to be mild) was served with broccoli and brown rice. It was absolutely delicious!"

"This is my wife’s and my favorite Chinese restaurant. The quality of the food is nearly perfect, and the portion sizes are generous. We've been coming here for 25 years, and I would give it a strong 5 stars. Although the original owners have sold the restaurant and the new team has made some slight adjustments to the original recipes, the dishes are still excellent. On the positive side, the drinks were delicious, and the sushi was quite good. I appreciated the special they had on sushi rolls, which was a nice added touch. "My visit to Ku restaurant exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is fantastic with beautiful lighting and decorations. The space is very clean and well-organized, perfect for families and couples. My server, Grace, was amazing! She took the time to answer all my questions and her recommendations were spot on. She even gave me a complimentary drink when I mentioned that the peach Bourbon was too strong for my liking! My friend loved the lobster and I enjoyed the orange cocktail. For sushi lovers, I highly recommend trying the poke bowl - it's delicious and filling. We also ordered the volcano roll, Veggie dumplings, boneless pork ribs with roasted sweet potatoes, and grilled chicken sticks - all were fantastic! I will definitely be returning soon. "My family took me here for my birthday. We love the California Roll, Eel Roll and Spicy Tuna Rolls. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. However, the taste/ flavoring of the hot food seems to vary from time to time (depending on who the Chef is). My family enjoyed their Pad Thai on this occasion, it was wet with sauce and noodle texture was slightly Al Dente. Few month earlier when I ordered Pad Thai, it was drier (almost no sauce but still had lots of flavor and noodle was very soft (the way I like it). If you plan to order Pad Thai, I suggest describing how you like it (wet, dry, soft, etc) to avoid any disappointments. Also, they no longer offer soup or salad with evening entrees as they had in the past. In short, Go with Sushi."

Due to the minor misunderstanding and not clearly mentioning that the drink had liquor in it, myhusband n brother 's religious sentiments were tampered and the night wasn 't fun anymore for any of us. The waitress was kindenough to apologize several times and communicated it to the chef to always declare that drink has alcohol conent in it. But themanager was completely unperturbed and showed no remorse, respect or apology for the event. Instead tried to play it down andtold us that Saki is a common n obvious part of hibachi places. A little understanding and a kind gesture from the manager wouldhave made things better for us.. but no such attempts were made. So, never going back to this place again!"

"Pros: The food was really good and came out quickly. The wanton wrappers on the vegetarian dumplings were fresh and steamed perfectly. My friends also enjoyed their meal.Cons: The server, Paul, made me and my table really uncomfortable by how hard he tried to push me to drink. I am over a year sober. Although he did so under the guise of joking, he was really aggressive in his approach and attempted to shame and humiliate me. I really didn 't appreciate it. My guests asked me if they should say something. I tried to ignore him but most of the time when he came to the table, he made some comment about it. After the first 3 times of trying to pressure me to order a drink, I told him I was sober but that did not stop him. It was disrespectful. If he wanted to upsell me, he could have offered a mocktail or a non-alcoholic beverage and I might have considered it. I felt really uncomfortable and suggest anyone who is sober or dining with someone sober not to come here."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic. They offer a delicious blend of Asian cuisines.
