"This was our first visit to NanKing and we plan to return! We were greeted promptly and seated right away. We were there for the vegan buffet and were not disappointed. A gentleman showed us the appetizer tables and explained how to assemble the little puffs I don’t remember what they are called, but they were delicious! We sampled nearly every item from the buffet and enjoyed seconds, and some thirds, of our favorites. The server was pleasant and attentive. A great dinner!! (Our only non positive comment is related to the uncomfortably chilly seat in a corner booth. Thankfully the food was warm."

"I almost can 't describe how amazing this place is. You walk in the door, instantly hear welcome home! And feel like part of the family. The decor and chairs are gorgeous, but not so much it 's distracting. Promptly sat, even during buffet hours, and got our drinks ordered and immediately had naan at the table. It 's definitely not the size of a Chinese buffet, but they have all of the best things. Their salad bar is amazing, they 've got vegan and meat options. And literally every item on the buffet is amazing. I went to broaden my tastes of Indian food, so I literally tried everything, and now I know I probably just like all Indian food. Using the bread to eat the saucier items, thus eating with your hands, is absolutely amazing when you 're not getting judged. And any time our glasses were a quarter or a 3rd empty, there was one of the servers with a pitcher of water. They definitely do an amazing job at keeping your drink full. The employees seem like family. They all tend to every table and the buffet, to stir and whatnot to keep everything fresh and hot. And you just generally feel like you 're home. I 'd rather 10/5 stars if I could. I 'll definitely be returning."

"I was blown away that they have a lunch buffet with clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options! Even the salad bar had vegan and vegetarian signs including their salad dressings and sauces! I LOVE Indian food! Generally buffets aren’t as good as ordering and this buffet wasn’t an exception but I had to try it because of the clearly marked signs. The buffet was only $12 which is pretty cheap for Indian food. I’ve ordered off their menu before and if you know what you want I would recommend this over their lunch buffet. Their website has their menu so give that a look."

"Excellent selection of mouth watering Indian food including Tandoori, Curries and offering both meat protein and vegetarian dishes. The manager, Alvin, and his staff are attentive and so polite. Definitely recommend Sattva Indian Cuisine in Aliso Viejo. Great place to eat before going to the adjacent movie theaters Edward's Aliso Viejo Stadium ."

"I was in the vicinity and was looking for an Indian restaurant. I found one just a block away from my hotel, the Fairfield Inn. I decided to order the lamb saag and it was absolutely delightful. I also got some papadum and raita on the side, along with a cup of chai tea. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a cozy, local atmosphere. The prices were also really good. I would definitely visit again if I ever find myself in the area."

"The chaats were disappointing. The papdi chaat was lacking nearly every spice, resulting in a bland and soggy dish. There was barely a hint of yogurt, and the sweet chutney was more sour than sweet, missing any spice or chili flavor. The Gobi Manchurian resembled a large cauliflower tree (it's important to break down the florets and crisp them up), and it was soggy as well! Surprisingly, the flavor was better than its appearance suggested. The samosa chaat was decent—while not exactly gourmet, it did have some identifiable flavors. However, it lacked the crispy edges typical of samosas and resembled more of a potato patty than a proper samosa, making it feel more like an aloo patty chaat instead. As for the vegetable biryani, I can't comment since they forgot to include it and asked me to return in person for a credit or to pick it up again. The paneer was average as well—nothing special, and while the cubes were soft, the curry was rather ordinary. The naan, on the other hand, was simply undercooked and felt raw."

"The best dining experience we have enjoyed in quite a while. Excellent food, really creative and flavorful. But the best reason to come here is Pooja, the co-owner and manager. Her attention and guidance are really valuable when it comes to ordering Indian food you might not be familiar with. Plus she's witty and fun. Thanks Bombay river--we will be back soon!"

"I could never eat from here again. First off you have to get pass all the pan handlers waiting outside the building. My GOSH, wasn't that scary. We order our food online and arrive at the estimated time given and had to wait another 45 mins before getting our food. I've experienced Indian cuisine before throughout Milwaukee an I've grown to love it, but this food was different. In a BAD way. We ordered other things as well but my Naan bread was crewy to the point it would not pull apart, the Butter Chicken was bland in taste, and the Indian Rice pudding was not cooked it was RAW and I ordered a Indian pickle and it wasn't in the bag. This was a horrible first time experience. I'm sure they can do better."

"We ordered a Mango Lassi and a Masala Soda. The mango lassi was the standard variety you find at most places, but the masala soda was excellent. The crispy chili potatoes were a highlight—my son, who usually avoids spicy food, gave them a try and ended up enjoying them. They were slightly greasy, yet delicious. My husband ordered fried rice with egg and said it was comparable to what we have in Hyderabad. The Hakka noodles I ordered weren't quite like the street food we're used to in India, but they were tasty—perfectly balanced without being too oily or spicy. I also tried a Falooda (not pictured), which was fantastic. I truly hope they maintain the quality of their food, as it would be a shame for that to change. If you're in the DFW area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!"

"Zaika is a modern Indian restaurant located in the heart of Capitol Hill. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and a menu that features both traditional Indian dishes and more innovative fusion creations.I recently had the opportunity to dine at Zaika with a group of friends. We started our meal with the Paneer Chilli, which was absolutely delicious. The paneer was perfectly cooked and the chili sauce was flavorful and not too spicy. We also ordered the Garlic Naan, which was warm and flaky. For our main courses, we had the Kashmiri Malai Kofta and the Pav Bhaji. The Kashmiri Malai Kofta was a flavorful dish with tender koftas in a creamy sauce. The Pav Bhaji was also very good, with a hearty mix of vegetables and spices. To finish our meal, we shared a Lassi. The Lassi was refreshing and the perfect way to end our meal.Overall, we had a great experience at Zaika. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively. We would definitely recommend Zaika to anyone looking for a great Indian meal in Seattle. Here are some additional thoughts about my experience at Zaika:The prices are on the higher end, but the food is definitely worth it.The portions are generous. The service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is lively and fun.I would recommend Zaika for a special occasion or a night out with friends. If you're looking for a delicious and unique Indian dining experience in Seattle, I highly recommend Zaika."

"I recently dined with friends at a wonderful restaurant that had a warm and inviting atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Although the service was a bit slow, it was definitely worth the wait. We each ordered different entrees, and everyone was pleased with their choices. The menu offered a variety of spice levels—mild, medium, and hot—which made it easy for us to find what we wanted. I opted for medium spice, and it was perfect for me. I chose the chicken tandoori, and I highly recommend trying the fish tandoori as well. Every dish we had was satisfying and generous in portion. The menu is extensive, so I look forward to trying more dishes in the future. They also have a great selection for vegetarians. Additionally, they offer both native and Indian beers, alongside a fully stocked bar. Be sure to check out the photos from my visit on Instagram @ifooditie!"

"I enjoyed the complimentary chai at this restaurant. The food was average. Upon revisiting the restaurant two more times, I noticed that the butter chicken was good, but the chicken curry had a raw tomato taste, likely from poorly cooked canned tomatoes. However, after refrigerating it overnight, the taste improved. The buffet was okay, with fish pakoda and alu tiki available, though they were not fresh. The restaurant mistakenly offered me naan with the buffet, but it was not actually included. $20 for the buffet seemed expensive for the quality. In the future, I would only return for the butter chicken."

"have already heard one thing about this place and was curious to try, but was disappointed to discover that many of the well-respected dishes, like the tandoori escape and the goat mother, are no longer on the menu. what remains is sufficient, but hardly special. peat stew and okra side were decent, but goan meeres fruit curry offered dry, overboiled fish and the opening somosa chaat was bland. in the did nothing was especially spicy, including the dishes we demanded as spicy. points found for the piece ceramic in the chaat, which wait long to order, and the almost incomprehensible server. this place may have been especially on the opening, but it seems to destroy its offers to expand its appeal, which means it is just another Indian place in the neighbourhood now, but with higher trips and less appropriate execution. skip."

"I have eaten here twice and have enjoyed Taste of Taj very much. I have gone for the brunch. The selection is a little limited but fairly diverse in the choices that are put out. Not bad for a beginner's taste of Indian food. You are served fresh nan bread with your meal which is delicious on its own and wonderful for sopping up the different sauces. There were not many people there either time I went. Hopefully that is just my luck at picking a time when the restaurant wasn't busy because I really enjoy it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My glass was kept full and my used plates removed in a timely manner."

"It’s amazing that a restaurant of this caliber has no options for a curry based dish for people with nut allergies. I repeatedly asked them if they could make something simple for my daughter with a nut allergy and they pretty much said no. I am not asking for multiple options…. Just 1. So either they don’t have anyone with talent on their team of chefs, or they are serving pre processed food, or they don’t care to accommodate a nut allergy in 2024. Either way… this is definitely not a place I will go back to… nor should you if you have any food sensitivities."

"Our waitress was delightful, the other gentleman who assisted with service was a bit gruff and maybe needs some pointers on service. Almost all of the food was very good. My naan on my Thali plate was burnt but everything else was really good! Highly recommend takeout as that appears to be the main business here."
