"I decided to order delivery on a whim and got the samosas, chicken kofta with chickpeas, and rice pudding from this restaurant. The prices were a bit high for the portion sizes, but the food was tasty. The rice pudding, in particular, was the best I've ever had - creamy and indulgent with a smooth texture. The samosas were a good size and not too greasy, although they were a bit too spicy for my liking. The chicken kofta was flavorful and juicy, but the portion size seemed a bit small for the price. Overall, I recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Indian food in the Dormont/South Hills area. They offer unique dishes that you may not find in other Indian restaurants. The high prices were mainly due to delivery fees, not the restaurant itself."

"very very bad experience. This is my second bad experience with this restaurant. This time, I ordered two big trays: 1 tray with schezwan rice and i tray veg Hakka noodles with Manchurian. we have total 16 people in party and no one ate foods. everybody just ate two spoon each. foods had no taste (no salt, no spices). Next day, I brought some sample foods and went to restaurant to taste them how bad foods was. Manager took sample foods and gave to chef for testing but he did not tell me anything. After that manager called to owner, owner told us that he will taste food and call back us but we never receive call.overall, there is no food quality and no customer service. we spent $275 and guest did not eat because of horrible taste. I never write bad review but this is one of worst experience I have in my life.personally recommend, do not go there if you want quality of food and good customer service."

"this is a small place right at the canal street that they easily pass to foot, but they must go in! Yes, the restaurant area is on the back of a convenience store, but I assure them that it is not strange or dirty or one of the above. eating was incredible with tons of vegan options. the server was friendly and knowledgeable about what is or could be made vegan. she even suggested some allergy-friendly vegan chocolate bars in the shop! (sojaallergie.) I wish I would be longer in nola, I would return here for the hummus alone."

"I found that the food at this restaurant is not truly authentic Thai cuisine. It seems to have more of an Indo-Chinese fusion. Some dishes, like the Hakka noodles, were quite delicious. However, the wait staff appeared to be inexperienced, leading to delays in taking orders and refilling water glasses. Overall, I was not impressed and do not plan on returning."

"I usually get takeout from this restaurant and the food is consistently good. However, today I stopped by with my wife so she could use the restroom, assuming it would be okay since I am a regular customer. Sadly, we were turned away by a lady who explained that the restroom is only for dine-in customers. I offered to order online, as I always do, but she still refused to let us use the restroom. I am disappointed and will not be ordering from this restaurant again."

"I live in livermore and fremont and was used to the shalimar they have here in the bay area. I have seen how disgusting and careless they can be. I saw bugs in the food and I saw worse. but on a Tuesday to karimi restaurant after seen Tik-Tönchen and I decided to give them an attempt. samosa chaat was good, but a little too on the watery side had still good taste, I would personally add more chana and garnish it with cilantro to make it look pretty. the daal yellow lenses was soou good and the huh tikka masala was amazing. as germphobic I love how they have plasticutensils, some places offer only cutlery and I prefer plastic it was a fairly spacious place, they have two bathrooms down in the hall. the bathroom that I would give a 6 10 must be done a deep cleaning. there were turbulent stains and afghan to be, I cooked with dressing, the curcuma have and the spot can actually be on the walls and wash basins. then again their bathrooms were cleaner than some other Indian Pakistani restaurants. this is the only thing that didn't make me give them a five-star, because I have become covid along with other clean freaks. I will come back and hope to make an updated assessment:"

"Super over priced for this quantity and more so quality of food !! My gosh has no one ever had good Mediterranean food ? This place tastes like the Applebees of Mediterranean and priced like it’s an upscale restaurant in the city. Total Insanity. 40 for one stick of chicken shish Kebab??? No idea how it has so many positive reviews. Maybe Livingston just has zero dining decent options ? Not sure as it’s not my hometown. Also not to be mean but everyone there was also 80 yrs old, which isn’t the greatest vibes."

First up, the Chicken Samosas ($7.25) are a must-try! These are four roasted pastries filled with chunky chicken, spices, and served with Tandoori and garlic sauces. They're absolutely delicious! Next, the Kachumber Salad ($5.29) is a delightful garden salad dressed in a peppery-sweet vinaigrette. The dressing really elevates this simple salad – it’s also absolutely delicious! "This is some of the best Middle Eastern cuisine you'll find in metro Detroit! I've been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years, starting from the days of La Shish Mezza, and I've witnessed a few changes in ownership. The current owner, Muhammed, has the place running better than ever, which is quite an achievement considering how outstanding the food has always been. I would easily put their fattoush against any I've tried, and I'm also a big fan of the stuffed cabbage and lamb chops. Their tabbouleh is among the finest as well. Everything is fresh, high quality, perfectly cooked, and served with some of the best service in town. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in the area!"

"I recently went on a first date and chose the restaurant. My date was open to trying something new, so I was a bit worried about the menu. However, he ended up loving everything we ordered, especially the lamb dish with lentils. He even mentioned wanting to go back soon, and with me! The date went exceptionally well, in part because we got to sit in a Moroccan decorated window seat with cozy cushions, which created a romantic atmosphere. Additionally, it's worth noting that the restaurant is BYOB with no cork fee."

"When you go to eat at any restaurant and you finish your delicious food, and then instead of just paying the bill you place another order of other items you didn't try, I think is a pretty good sign that the food was excellent. That happened to my family and myself at Alhamra!! I agree that the place is very modest inside, but the food makes up for it many times over. If you can overlook that and enjoy your company and food then you should be ok. Is not that it's dirty but more of old furniture and so so lighting. Now to the food, any curry item I think is simply delicious, creamy, great aromas and tender pieces of chicken (which is the item we order the most). The chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken Chana are incredible!! The vegetarian section is really tasty also, my son loves the Mushroom Mutter is excellent. The Tandoori chicken and prawns are succulent, the meat on each super tender and just full of great flavor. Nan, ohhh the nan, I think they make each order as it is ordered, perhaps I am wrong but it tastes fresh and great!! The first time we went there the server was confused as to why we ordered like 4 different styles of it, he even said that it was a lot of food, but we love tasting different things. The vegetable Samosas are big and delicious, the sauces they bring for them, one red and the green sauce are superb. I also tried the Papadam, which is a sun dried lentil flavored wafer, which to me had a strong and yet delicious cumin flavor. All in all, an excellent food experience, and the prices are really good for the quality of food you are getting, the portions are not huge and you leave feeling satisfied. At least for us is worth the 29 mile drive to have delicious food!!"

"An upmarket Mediterranean restaurant with good food, pleasant staff and a great atmosphere. Food: The duck breast entree I had was fantastically cooked (crispy fat with a pink tender breast and the vegetables and sauce that accompanied it were different, but delicious. The mince kebabs for the other entree we had were OK, but pretty bland which was a little disappointing and the calamari and humus for appetizers were tasty. Service: Very nice smiley server who was attentive. Price: The main reason for not scoring this restaurant higher The meal was very expensive for what it was in my opinion. Our two young children had Chicken Tenders and fries which were $20each! $8 for a side of fries and then entrees expensive, but worthy of he price (one anyway! , plus a credit card fee which I always find annoying these days. In summary a nice location in Westwood, but be prepared to pay for the ambience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"They close at 9:30, I called at 9:20 expecting them to say sorry we’re closing in a few minutes, instead they said no problem, come on by as long as your here by 9:45 we’ll take care of you, Are you sure ? I asked ,Come by brother no problem he replied. So family and I pulled in at 9:40, staff was super friendly and welcoming, having worked in kitchen myself, I kinda felt bad because I knew the kitchen staff already had cleaned up for the day and they cooked just for us. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani,chicken tandoori legs, goat karahi, and Naan, Everything was on point, the kids loved it too (not too spicy) we had left overs, but I figured if they stayed opened just for us at least make the ticket worth their while. We were very pleased with the experience. Which was reflected in the tip of course!Fast forward a week, we were driving through Sacramento and decided to stop by spice of life for a late lunch, we pulled in at 3:30, their buffet ends at 3 and reopens at 5:30. We didn’t go in for the buffet, we went back for the food. Staff offered us the buffet, even though the timing was over, they replenished the buffet just for us, which was sweet.Keep up the good work !! Spice of life is Definitely on my list whenever I’m driving through Sacramento."
