"Then there's my experience from tonight. I live about eight blocks away and, on nights when I work late, I like to order a couple of sodas and dessert. I placed my order at 9:06 PM for one slice of cake and four diet cokes—no cooking involved, which should take a couple of minutes at most. By 9:52 PM, there was still no delivery. Again, it was just sodas and a slice of cake, and I live just eight minutes away. When I spoke to the manager, he put me on hold and then returned to say, "Yeah, sorry about that, but he just got back... he'll leave now." Seriously? He hadn't even left yet. **Management Ownership:** If you can’t deliver four cans of soda eight blocks away, just be honest and say it will take over an hour. And please, don’t be rude when a loyal customer, who has put up with multiple screw-ups, expresses their frustration with your dishonesty. If you’re considering a pizza delivery, I suggest trying Domino's or Mulberry Street instead. They offer better food at similar prices, and even though they might charge a bit more for sodas, the timely delivery and respectful service are worth it. A note: After posting my review, the manager called me within seconds—two calls in one minute. It’s interesting how they couldn’t remember my order for 45 minutes, yet immediately found my phone number after seeing my review. Over the past year, the number of mistakes has been astounding: wrong sodas delivered, food arriving destroyed (my cherished slices of cake often came squashed under cans of soda), and multiple rounds of incorrect deliveries. I faced many delays with orders that were absurdly late. A struggling business should not make unrealistic delivery promises, fail to keep their word, and then respond rudely to valid customer feedback. Ideally, they should be honest with loyal customers and ensure that their apologies are sincere rather than hollow. And as for the prices in this recession-ravaged economy—$24 for a tiny 12-inch cheese pizza that balloons to $35 after delivery fees, taxes, and tips? Absolutely not worth it."
