"Excellent experience. Mike's catered an event for us and everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. The delivery was on time and everything tasted fresh. There was so much food that we didn't even notice that we were missing a tray of fruit. Unbeknownst to us, Mike realized the oversight and went back to the restaurant to retrieve it. "Remember, it's a diner!. As a college student, I've eaten my fair share of diner food. Sams has always been my favorite though. I used to eat dinner there often because I lived near by. It's incredibly cheap and the portions are huge. The staff is always friendly and they treat regulars really nicely. Remember though, it's a diner it's not a five star restaurant. The menu ranges from Greek to America. The Gyros are awesome, the cheeseburgers are ENORMOUS and the club sandwhich is enough to split between two people. The omelets are really huge too, but my favorite for breakfast are the breakfast croissants. Honestly, everything I've ever tried there has been good. The only compliant I've ever heard (from my boyfriend) was that the gravy for the beef strogenoff was too salty and not what he expected. I can't remember the exact statement, but he wasn't happy with it. We sent it back and they took it off the bill and made him something else without complaint."

"We try to eat at Four Star Grille at least twice a month, but I want to share a review for a different reason this time. This year, our apartment building decided to have our Thanksgiving dinner catered by Four Star Grille. After planning the menu, a fellow member of the Activity Committee and I placed the order and made the payment. We spoke with the manager, Kaylie, who not only answered our questions but also offered some suggestions we hadn't thought of. She even provided us with slices of turkey to help us assess the portion sizes and brought out samples of dressing for us to taste. Every time we visit, the staff is incredibly accommodating, making sure we have a fantastic dining experience. Plus, the prices are great for the generous portions. Most of the time, we bring home leftovers to enjoy the next day. Keep up the fantastic work, Four Star Grille!"

"Hmmm Please please please do not go by the location or the decor outside. It's small place with a big taste and quality. Watching the family taking care of the food so closely makes me feel home. Now the Food, Greek spices are subtle and fresh. It's not like my own Indian overwhelming curry stuff ; And man this place brings it out and proves it. I just love going back there. Gyro is carved out off a live gyro station and it is fresh. Grilled veggies are done right. The sauces are a perfect complement to the homemade taste in any of their dishes. Portion is more than satisfying and their service is very accommodating. Kids love it. Can't ask for anything more. Enjoy!"

"During my first visit, the restaurant was very busy and clearly understaffed. There were only two waitresses, but they were trying their best. The food arrived cold, but it was clear that they were doing their best under the circumstances. There were people waiting to be seated and the busboy was very professional and helpful. Hopefully, they will get more help soon. I recommend giving them a try and I will definitely be back for another meal."

"disappointed. Went through the drive thru today at 1:59pm. Order was taken by Jalisha. Felt very rushed trying to order, staff was not very helpful, spoke maybe a few words at window. I said “ thank you have a good day”, nothing was said back to me- window was shut. Order was wrong. Chips that came with the gyro were hard and stale. There was PAPER in the lettuce on the gyro. Ordered a club sandwich with no onion- onion was all over it. Alfredo noodles were hard barely any sauce, rubbery chicken. Unfortunately will not return. Had very high hopes for this restaurant. Disappointing is an understatement. Worst $38 spent. Owner was not available when I called to report the paper being in the gyro. Very frustrating experience."

"After ordering dinner from a friendly staff, I went to pick it up but was disappointed to find that it wasn’t what I expected. I tried to be patient, even though the service I received was quite subpar. After leaving the restaurant, I couldn’t shake off my frustration, so I took a look at other reviews and noticed someone named Ameen had a similar experience just a week ago. I wish I had thought twice before spending my time and money here. It’s also worth mentioning that this place shares similarities with Fam Grill, just differing in phone number. Despite having a higher rating, the service I experienced was lacking, particularly concerning a specific waiter. On the other hand, I've heard better things about Sawara. My meal was bitter and tough, making it not worth the price I paid. I would strongly recommend that others consider spending their money elsewhere."

They even accommodated me when I showed up 5 minutes before they closed up--didn 't realize they were scheduled to close at 2pm, but they kept inviting people in. "Very disappointing and unfriendly dining experience. The ONLY reason I gave it two stars is because the food was edible and the table sitting next to us were pleasant to talk to while waiting an unbelievably long time for our food. The host and our waiter were young men who couldn 't make eye contact or speak audibly. It took about 10 minutes for our server to even come to our table to take our very simple order. It was an additional 25 minutes for food to arrive. Our server only came back to give us our bill 10 minutes after we were finished eating. Didn 't say a word just slid the bill on the table and walked away. I could understand if they were busy but there were 9 total tables, mostly, two tops and a floor staff consisting of a host, a manager, two servers and a bus boy. The entire waiting area was full of people, waiting to be seated, however the host was wondering aimlessly around the restaurant. I would highly suggest finding another restaurant before choosing Grand Coney unless you are satisfied by poor communication, disappearing servers, and unnecessarily long wait times."

"We arrived at 6:00 PM on a Monday, and the dining room was nearly full, with only two tables available. The noise level was overwhelming, almost unbearably loud. I even resorted to using earplugs meant for rock concerts, but they didn’t help much. Next time, I’ll opt for a seat in the bar area, where it was much quieter, without loud patrons trying to out-shout each other or children running around, which can be quite distracting. I do wonder when new parents will learn to manage their kids, as it used to be in the past when children were seen but not heard. Despite this, the food and portion sizes were impressive, and the service was good. My only real complaint was the overwhelming noise from other diners and their unruly children, which the restaurant cannot control. I would suggest visiting during the quieter hours in the afternoon, around 2-3 PM, to avoid the busy meal times. If you notice the parking lot is busy when you arrive, it might be best to sit in the bar if seats are available. By 7 PM on the night we visited, the bar was full with no available seats. My total bill was $34.90: - Veal Parmesan Sub: $7.95 - French Fries: $3.75 - Pepsi: $1.70 - Subtotal: $27.20 - Tax (MA meal tax): $1.70 - Tip: $6.00 The restaurant has ample free parking on the side, with accessible parking right at the front, complete with a wheelchair ramp leading to the entrance."

"UPDATE SECOND VISIT. We came for our second visit on Mother's Day. We were able to get an early reservation (all right. I also joined up on line and received a free small hummus. Big enough for four people and a $6 value for just my email address. They let me use it on a holiday which was awesome. Except for the music occasionally being too loud everything was as good as the first time. I still recommend trying this nice restaurant First time at this restaurant. At first glance it is freshly decorated in colors that are right inline with any HGTV renovated house. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. We were very comfortable with the setting. They have a good selection of wines and other drinks. The waiter was extremely friendly and very attentive without being pushy at all. The menu has a nice selection of Mediterranean foods and the portions were immense. To give perspective, I ate a very large amount of my dinner. I took the rest home, and when I had the remainder, it was too much to finish. The crushed lentil soup was way too good, I wish I had the recipe. The beef and chicken shawarma were both really good. All of us enjoyed our meals. Understand that this is not a regular priced restaurant, it is at the next level. However, if you take into account what I said above, each meal for me was $10.50, and that's average nowadays. If you go remember to try the fresh bread, you won't be sorry."
