"We had a late reservation and the restaurant was already closing so we were the only two in the entire place. I would recommend going before 10 pm for dinner as we felt a bit rushed since we were the only people in the place and they'd started closing procedures already. The vegan food was amazing and we had great wine. I would highly recommend the pasta- it was amazing. Also had a caesar salad (vegan) which was good, but definitely go for the pasta."

"We made our reservation knowing we would be in the tent, and the description of the tent claimed there is ductwork that maintains a year-round temp of There was heating/ductwork, and it likely would have been fine if the space in the tent had been used properly. Unfortunately, we arrived and were seated in the tent quite literally next to a party of about people who were grazing and talking with one another. This was not a seated party, it was a reception, so the group was loud and boisterous. We could not hear ourselves think. I asked the host if there were any other seating options. We were moved about away, but were then in a corner of the tent which was not sealed up. We literally had snow along the side of our table and sat in a very cold draft. Service and food were fine. Ambiance and comfort were non-existent. The tent option was completely oversold."

"I was excited to order from this restaurant because I remember how good it was 6 years ago. I made an online order for pickup and called once I arrived. I thought there was curbside pickup because I didn?t see any instructions on where to get the food. I asked the woman who answered says, ?I guess I can come bring out to you.? [with an attitude] -Terrible hospitality! I don?t feel entitled to receive curbside but, the way the message was conveyed let me know the culture of this place has significantly changed. The worse part was the quality of the food!!! ? Not at all does it have the taste of authentic Italian food. Packaging was awful as the liquid spills out easily. I would have been more satisfied with Noodles and Company. Did ownership change within the last 6 years? I?m trying to understand what?s going on here. This place was a staple restaurant in Rockville and may have lost its? charm. ?"

"Went for lunch today for the first time with my husband. The lunch buffet was really delicious. It was very quiet and peaceful inside, and clean. Service was very nice. After tax and tip our meal was about $57 for the 2 of us. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back for lunch or ordering take out!"

"I had been here once before about 6 years ago and this place is close to 4 hours from my house. I was a tour bus driver then and while waiting for a group I had gone in here and got some food. It was great and you can imagine the different pizza places I have been in while driving a tour bus in the northeast and to Montreal and Washington DC. I had wanted to bring my wife here since then for some good food. As we now winter in Florida I decided to find the place again on our way home yesterday. "We found this restaurant after we got a flat tire by Sherwin williams. The owner came to out to help us. Afterwards we decided to go dine at this restaurant and we were amazed at how delicious the food was. The service was wonderful and pretty fast. We will definitely come back to dine in. "omg the food was delicious. but I was there in the rest with a party of 12. Apparently, the owner was pissed at a hired person over a 'to~go' order that was not complete. we had never heard such a quality. he flew away and continued and continued. as customers, we have not been happy at all about our eating. the older Italian owner needs anger management classes. if it is the Italian way to express itself and "we " understand the public, it only has to open to the Italians. we just don't understand this type. we got up quickly, complained, he was throwing a few things around and never offered any kind of excuse. he must come out of business or learn to keep his mouth shut. any question that disputes can be dealt with in a business way and wisely and taken to the office. we paid customers and cost his food? I don't think so, and all 12 of us don't have, will not go back. eat this great food on their own risk. cafe vesuvio is not the only Italian rest. in sanford. thanks for listening."

We have been dining at Sal's since the late 70's while visiting Williamsburg and now that we live here we are there all of the time. The food is as authentic Italian that you will find and the ingredients are always fresh. The service is always great with the same staff for many years and the value that you get here is great. The wine selection is very extensive for an casual dining restaurant with some very good value priced wines as well. Be sure to ask about the daily specials and any special events that are being planned. All in all one of Williamsburg's finest for lunch or dinner."

"If you want to be ignored by your server time and time again, this is the place to go. Took date here for their Valentine’s day dinner….biggest mistake I’ve ever made (luckily she didn’t break up with me! . Slow service, waited 45 minutes for meal and took 2 hours to complete the whole dinner. Atmosphere was okay and the food didn’t suck as bad as the service. Cafe Mezzanotte claims to be a ‘high class’ restaurant but was not convinced. No one should make a reservation and get excited to go to this place. If you’re from the area go to Harry Savoy bar and grill (way better food and service . *this is only the experience I had. This does not mean you will receive the same, but I would be skeptical if you’re trying to plan a romantic evening or what not."

"Decent Italian place in Evanston. I only had a chance to try their pasta, and specifically the chicken parmesan and 'make your own pasta. ' The chicken in the chicken parmesan was definitely crispy and would be loved by people who 'd prefer that over a softer type of chicken parmesan. The meatball added in the other pasta felt a bit bland, but it may go well with the marinara sauce more. Overall, the pasta portions was quite big and will make at least two meals for me!"
