"Their Beef Chili was exceptional, and I also tried the Vegan Chili which was equally delicious. What sets this place apart is their ability to offer the same vegan options as their regular menu. The Jumbo Kosher Beef hotdog was also a standout, with a chargrilled taste that was unique and enjoyable. The Banana Pudding dessert was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for chili and hotdog lovers. I will definitely be returning soon to try their Salmon Burger, and I highly recommend this spot to others. "The old school vibes with soul music playing in the background really had me relaxed taking it all in. Jacks serves up freshly cooked breakfast made to order in any fashion you crave. Our plates came out quick/hot, food taste great and the service was fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem joint in LA well worth trying. I’ll be back!"

"This restaurant has the best chicken sausage mountaineer in Los Angeles, located right in the heart of the city. I've introduced many people to this place, and they always come back on their own. They also sell a secret recipe for ground chicken and turkey to the public, so you can take it home and whip up something delicious for breakfast. Don’t forget to try the freshly made desserts they have every day. This place is incredibly addictive; I've been eating here for years. I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!"

"Woody's on Slauson use to be very delicious and good service in the 80's. When I moved back to California, I couldn't wait to go to my favorite bbq place ever. January 8th,2022 was the last time I would EVER step for into Woodys. The service was awful!! ALL of the staff on that day looked to have bad attitudes, no smiles very unwelcoming. My friend and I felt like they could careless if we ere there or not. The rib tips were okay. My friend said her greens were very bland, she didn't like the red beans and rice. I felt I would have enjoyed burning the $27.32 more that I spent on the terrible service and not so good food. One star is being generous."

"Management please beware who you let work in your establishment who isn't professional, courteous and tentative to the customers who patronize with your business. This Thursday evening the lady that took the orders had an unfriendly attitude. I seen her antagonize a customer because the customers was uncomfortable with her attitude and her approach. She didn't try to handle the situation in a professional business like manner. This is exactly why businesses lose loyal customers because of the service from the staff. I'm just saying. Reviews speak for themselves. Everyone not just saying the same thing about that unprofessional woman you have greeting people with attitudes. Who will do something to rectify this. She needs to be in the back."
