"It’s not only a bakery, it’s a delicious warm deli, too! I started ordering here after two friends suggested I get pastry but discovered the deli section. The pastry is delicious, beautifully presented and masterfully made. The tables outside give this place a European vibe where you can enjoy a bite on the go or spend some time. The deli section is just enough to entice you for fresh home made meals which although mainly Armenian are so universal in that they have meat, rice and vegetables. Prices are reasonable and portions are for famished appetites. Soups and calzone type pizza are delicious. We’ve been coming here for years but only decided to leave a well deserved review today!"

"I visited the restaurant yesterday with my roommates, and it was fantastic! The food was still delicious, and the service was excellent. It was quite busy, which is great to see, especially considering that some inconsiderate person had been throwing rocks through the windows. It's important to support local businesses like this one! "Amazing and lovely restaurant. We ordered take away but can’t wait to come back and sit down to dine with these amazing folks and this delicious food. I had to wait a bit for my food to take home to family but was entertained by a music man while waiting. I did come back and many times! This place never ever disappoints! I love to support the fine Ukrainian folks here as well as other nationalities that work here. The food is simply amazing and Anastasia is just the most professional, knowledgeable and attentive person. Saturday nights they have a great DJ and lots of loving people out for dining and dancing! So nice to have this in the 818 again but this place is even more special because of the chef, the staff and the ambiance."

"The restaurant was nearly empty at 12:30pm on a Thursday. The waiter was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Beef and pork dumplings were delicious. Ajaruli was also delicious, but should be shared by several people. (It's too much cheese for one or two people. Shkmeruli was quite good, but the chicken was smaller and tougher than I expected. The creamy garlic broth went really well with the Georgian bread."

"We made a reservation for 8 and stated a Birthday. When we arrived no one was ready for us no table ready, no signers as stated, etc. We ordered wine in a bottle because they were out of wines by the glass.? The waiter brought the bottle over and didn't open it for about 15 minutes and never poured the win just handed us the bottle. We ordered Mineral Water and same thing they gave us the bottle that you cannot open without a bottle opener. WE all ordered food some people received their Pizza which was doughy and under cooked. The rest of us just sat there. When we asked if the fish was fresh we were told it has been defrosting this afternoon. By the time others got their food the pizza ordering people were done. Another person never received their pizza and we were told they had to re cook it. It was served after we were all done and not cooked enough either (they should have not charged for it. The service was so bad, untrained staff, confused, slow to tope it off they charged us 18% tip when the website says 18% tip for party of 10 or more. No one around to tell these things to because they were busy singing off the Apple Computer. We called to tell the restaurant about this and they don't answer the phone. Very sad that this was so bad. It would be so nice to have a neighborhood restaurant to go to."

"We visited this location for dinner to celebrate my birthday, and had a good experience. Our server was fantastic...she was personable, funny, and friendly. For dinner, l was recommended on the menu). My meal had good flavor. The wine, however, was great and paired well with the dish! For dessert, I received the complimentary Napoleon cake! These were so good! Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and I love so much Ararat signature cocktails! ???? I will definitely be back"

"The food was tasty, but we encountered a problem with the waitresses claiming to understand gluten when they actually did not. The menu indicated certain items were gluten-free, but upon further questioning, it was revealed that they were not well-informed about gluten allergies. If you have a gluten allergy, make sure to speak with someone else who is knowledgeable, and consider asking them a few basic questions to test their understanding. We were served pita, pilaf, and bulgur as gluten-free options, despite the risk of cross-contamination."

"As a Russian myself, I can say that this place is absolutely incredible! Food was just like home—Siberian pelmeni сибирские пельмени, borshch борщ, syrniki сырники, medovik медовик and solenia соленья, even tea—JUST LIKE HOME!!! I so so so recommend this place! "What a hidden gem! I had read about jingalov hats on a food blog and had been eager to try them, and this restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The staff was kind enough to prepare mine without cilantro, and it was perfect. The lahmajun was the best I’ve ever had in my life! Every baked good we sampled was delicious. I can't praise this place enough! I will definitely be returning!"
